The Democratic Party’s era of even bigger government backed up with the promises of free stuff, along with economic ruin, is here to stay. Yes, there may be enough juice left in the Democratic Party establishment to prevent a truly left-wing whacko from clinching the party nomination for president. Then again, is it strong enough? Regardless, the far left wing of the party has grown to the point where at least one or multiple candidates will be competing on how slow or fast they want to turn this nation into Venezuela. The first up is Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who announced her much-anticipated 2020 candidacy on MLK Day this month. During a town hall event hosted by CNN, the California Democrat decided to declare herself the frontrunner of the whacko wing of the party by saying she wants to eviscerate private health insurance (via NTK Network):

Universal health care/ Medicare for All is the type of government funded service that just about every Western nation provides its citizens. That's what just about everyone believed before the 2016 elections - so many naively believed people would readily see that Hillary was a vastly superior candidate to Trump.

The key phrase is 'naively'. This because people like you fail to understand that there are millions upon millions of deluded right wingers who, like the social lemmings they are, cannot think for themselves. They are readily disposed to believe anything the right wing propagandists dictate to them. They allowed themselves to succumb to baseless, irrational, propaganda garbage which said Hillary was some kind of commie, a threat to society, a menace to the world and to all the known and knowable universe and points beyond. All of this was nothing more than bullshtttt, of course. Any rational person who could think for him/herself would or should have seen it. But they didn't.

Because of that it is a very good bet that these same deluded people will succumb to the propaganda garbage we are seeing today against the Dem pols.

I'm fairly new to PF and had no experience dealing with hard-core Republicans since I'd never posted on political sites before. These far-right posters generally seize on a distortion and then unrelentingly repeat hatefulness. I'm very grateful to live in a state that has essentially put Republicans on the outside of elected influence.

Until you look at who's in our jails and prisons or when you observe what's going on in immigrant communities that have a large population of illegal aliens or even legal immigrants.

Many crimes in immigrant neighborhoods go unreported. Immigrants from Latin America and Africa look at law enforcement being the enemy.

Many property crimes in America are not looked upon by immigrants from Central America as being a crime...it's a cultural thing.

30, 40 year old Mexicans having sex with a 12 year old girl isn't considered to be a crime by Mexican immigrants...it's a cultural thing.
