Nations Gather To Defend Against Russian Aggression

Why is everyone so angry that Poland wants a missile defense yet cheers Russia to put up their S-500 systems? And somehow this is all America's fault?

Oh right, people just hate America no matter what, I am glad the posters here represent a very small faction of people.

 

They want Russia to be able to steamroll over Europe in any conflict.

Because Russia would sit and watch with glee as Iranian missiles streaked towards Europe.

 

That's correct.....the Russians wouldn't lift a finger as Iranian missiles hurled toward Europe.....Putin would come up with some lame excuse why he couldn't help prevent the attack.

I think you are wrong. During the military actions when UK/US were allies of the USSR, USSR fulfilled all the agreements with the allies. If US/EU made an agreement with Russia about military defense system, there would be no problem for Putin to intervene if Iranian missiles fly to Western Europe.

 

Russia is supplying them the technology hat enables their missiles to hit inside Europe. Russia views Iran as an ally, while Europe is seen at best their competitor and more likely their foe.

 

Supplying military equipment - it is pure business, nothing more. Russia supplies also rocket engines to the US. In addition, why Iran should launch missiles to EU?

 

May be this sort of confrontation will end with a closer military ties between Russia and other countries disliked by USA. At this point, I do not see where Russian aggression is? I see a lot of evidence of aggression of USA and NATO.

 

Which makes them masters of war and you a padawn. The idea is not to have a fair fight.

We practise fairness in sport because we wish our opponents to oppose us again.

Can't be following the news much then, if that's what you think... You haven't noticed how Russia has invaded two countries, how they have made threats against other countries, including nuclear?

No.. Because europe can defend itself if it feels it needs to. We are as rich and advanced as the US is. If we want to we can have as big a military as you have. But we don't want to, and we don't need to. And russia is backwards and poor as (*)(*)(*)(*). of course we can defend against them.

Sounds like Putin is trying to flex some muscle before Obama is gone, and America has an actual leader again.

Sometimes I wonder where the loyalty of certain Americans lie.

With America or with foreign countries like Ukraine and Poland.

Because they treat their interests as being one in the same.

But for a real American, America's interests are separate and independent.

If you love Ukraine and Poland so much, then go live there with the other Ukrainian and Polish citizens.

 

Because when a neighbor who has been historically aggressive for centuries, starts flinging lies and insults at you so as to create an enemy, and then lines cannons along their border under a pretense of defense, then you better make damn sure those cannons do not go off.

Nato moved 4,000 more men along the Russian border, so Russia responded by moving 60,000 along it as well. Now Nato is putting in a missile shield, so Russia is creating three more divisions to protect itself. That's 120,000 more men.

History has taught Russia never to trust the West and their obsession of moving eastwards into Russian lands, whether it be; Swedes, Germans, French, Poles, Lithuanians, etc., etc. Today it's Washington and the corporations that wants Russia's wealth. No difference!

 

That's what happens when you ask for the opinions of middle easterners and africans. The same people also believe in jewish conspiracies and witchcraft. in other words, their opinions are worthless because they are clueless.

 

NATO is welfare for ingrate Europeans who want to drag Americans into their perpetual conflicts and strife.

In their wisdom, the founding fathers warned us against this.

Unfortunately, legions of dumb Americans have seen fit to repudiate the wisdom of the founders and to embrace the failed model of imperialism and globalism.

The Romans did something quite similar and we saw how well that worked for them.

How is it anti-American for someone to treat America's interests as being separate and independent from the interests of Europe?

That was one of the main points of the American revolution, was to disentangle Americans from the endless problems of Europe.

Seems to me, the most anti-American thing someone can do is to subvert American sovereignty and independence by intermingling our interests with the interests of foreign countries like Poland and Ukraine.

How many thousands of Americans had to die because of European conflicts? How much American wealth has been poured into European military conflicts and military infrastructure?

Stealing our people and our money in order to fight the wars of foreign people seems more anti-American than anything.

 

And what do you want that actual leader to do, continue the pretense that Russia is a threat and destroy even more countries in the process, or have the courage to fight the neo cons in Washington with their Trotskyite philosophy of perpetual war? .
