Since 2015 defense budgets have increased by around $38Billion as agreed under the obama agreement to the end of 2018. No doubt trump did provide the fire to ensure those expenditure commitments continued to increase.

BRUSSELS ― NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says allies have stopped cuts in defense spending and started to increase burden-sharing, something U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for.

Right, but your question needs more clarification for me to answer, because not every country in NATO has increased its spending at the same rate.

Interesting that you cherry pick from 2015, when the NATO members already had their budgets in place and couldn’t increase them until the next year.

The quote I responded to was NATO has increased spending ever since they made Pledges to Obama. That is not true, according to the Director of NATO, and the data I have reviewed and posted.

Some member Nations have, but others haven't, and in fact they decreased spending.

 

All of them, since you claimed NATO increased spending. Do you want me to repost your statement?

Obama spoke in 2014, Stoltenberg in 2015.
2015 was higher than 2014.
