    The F-22 is on sale.
If pilots wanted it, they could have it.

They don't. So you can't sell it.
    The market has spoken.

Unlike the F22, the F35 has orders.
It's going to get produced and in my expectation become widely used.

Pilots and planes are like soldiers and rifles. They think the one they have is the best one. Since it's the only one they've ever used and they like to take pride in themselves and their nations.

The F22 impresses no one but Americans. No ones else is buying.

Ummm... What the hell are you smoking? Is that what you think? No one buys it because they don't want it? It's because we're aren't no will we ever sell it. Jesus Christ the amount of backward thinking you have is appalling.

And no. The "pilots" can not just buy one if they wanted to. You are definitely 12.

Definitely 12. And I don't care whatsoever if they have different political views then my own and they don't care about mine. I know you will never understand this, but soldieres don't care what your political affiliation is. Politics is something we (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) at eachother about during downtime but it's not something we give half a (*)(*)(*)(*) about. I have fought along side. British soldiers. I have bled along side them and they have bled along side me. you say they don't respect us? That is the ultimate respect. Me and mine would and have died for them and they have done the same for us. So take your petty civilian political opinions and sod off with them.

Also. I really want you to look at what you just said and think about it for a minute. If you take anything away from what I said let it be this. "I'm happy to let people speak for themselves. If you wish to talk on behalf of the SAS, then carry on." What an absolutely pile of hypocritical horse(*)(*)(*)(*). First off I never presumed to speak for the SAS and second off, read the comment you posted that I responded to, the one where you were going on and on about how all SAS disrespect Americans and yada yada yada and literally you doing exactly what you just claimed you don't do. It's freaking hilarious.

OK....reality check.....no nation except the United States is capable of deploying 50,000 troops or in the U.S.'s case up to 1 Million Troops anywhere in the world and be able to supply them and get them there.

The United States is the ONLY Nation capable of such Force Projection.

You know.....you are posting a complete LIE.

    A BLATANT BOLD FACED LIE!!

The F-22 BY LAW cannot be sold to any other nation but the United States.

The U.S. Congress will not even allow F-22's to be sold to the U.K. or even Canada as that is just how advanced the F-22 actually is.

Now you have been giving me crap over my posts and now this post of yours is available for THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP TO SEE...as what it is....A BOLD FACED LIE!!

And just to add....if you asked any pilot IN THE WORLD....if they could chose ONE FIGHTER AIRCRAFT out of all existing to fly into aerial combat against 10 other enemy aircraft in a fight to the death.....EVER SINGLE PILOT IN THE WORLD WOULD CHOSE THE F-22 RAPTOR!!

    THAT IS A FACT!!

The F-35 has had problems..true....but they are being worked out.

The thing is for air forces that cannot afford to purchase a large number of aircraft the F-35 fit's the bill do to it's ability to survive aerial battle.

The sale of F-22's to other nations is banned by Congress thus the 2nd best Stealth Aircraft in the world is the F-35.

It can shoot and scoot to live another day when fighting against much higher in number enemy aircraft.

He is CONSTANTLY posting that what I post is B.S. yet he will NEVER provide any evidence.

But when I call him on his B.S. he just as you said refused to reply.

It is this type of disingenuous posting and debate that most members hate.

Boo hoo hoo is your mighty plane not selling?
    It's (*)(*)(*)(*) mate. That's why.

Your lawmakers can pass any law they like. And also unpass any law they like.
If you had a customer, you could change it. But you don't so why bother?

Here is some wiki for you.

Some Australian politicians and defense commentators proposed that Australia should attempt to purchase F-22s instead of the planned F-35s,[47][48] citing the F-22's known capabilities and F-35's delays and developmental uncertainties.[49] However, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) determined that the F-22 was unable to perform the F-35's strike and close air support roles.[50] The Japanese government also showed interest in the F-22 for its Replacement-Fighter program. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) would reportedly require fewer fighters for its mission if it obtained the F-22, thus reducing engineering and staffing costs. However, in 2009 it was reported that acquiring the F-22 would require increases to the defense budget beyond the historical 1 percent of GDP.[51][52] With the end of F-22 production, Japan chose the F-35 in December 2011.[53] Israel also expressed interest, but eventually chose the F-35 because of the F-22's price and unavailability.

Banning the export of something no one wants. Righto. Saves face I suppose.

Never mind the Israeli's like it. Maybe you can give them some when you decide to change your own rules.

The F-22 Raptor is banned for being sold by the U.S. Congress PERIOD!!

There is not a nation on Earth that would not JUMP at the chance to buy an F-22.

    = Just Israel.

Even the US doesn't want to buy them. Lol.
How many orders have you cancelled so far? 80%? 90%?

It's (*)(*)(*)(*) mate. Super expensive, doesn't do anything all the others can't.
Inspiring to the minds of 15 year olds. Boring to taxpayers.

The F-22 first flew in 1996 and is a 1988 design.

It is considered an old design and it has been flying for 20 years.

The U.S. Military has once again jumped an entire Generation as we jumped from Gen. 5 Stealth to Gen. 7 Stealth Robotic Self Autonomous Fighter Attack Drones.

We already have flown Gen. 6 versions on and off carriers as this was the X-47B.

I agree. Drone is the future of R&D now.

Cheap weapons platform with little to no risk for the operator.

Until they start getting hacked I expect, then it will revert to manned flight again.

The new Gen. 7's are Robotic Self Autonomous thus they cannot be hacked.

Do they land themselves? If not, they can be hacked.

Autonomous = not a weapons platform. I'm more interested in the other kind.

Dude. Are you mentally unstable? You just claimed no nation wants them completely ignoring the fact that no other nation can HAVE THEM PERIOD, and then posted 3 examples of nations trying for years to get them. You literally have won the award for most moronic person on this forum and that is actually a pretty big achievement.

That's the world from your perspective mate. I've shown you the world from mine.

    I hear your excuses.

No one wants it. It makes no difference whether you agree to sell it or you don't agree to sell it because no one else wants it. You asked them if they did, they all said no. Except Israel. Who don't want to pay you for it.
    It's a white elephant. A vanity project.

A Cessna with a radar and an Amram could take that out. Cheap and effective is what we want. Not Buck Rogers and bankruptcy.

Build some cheap drones and we'll talk money.

The X-47B is Gen. 6 thus it needs a human pilot to land this drone.

The new Gen. 7 Robotic Self Autonomous do not need a pilot at all.

And we are building thousands of them in many roles such as Fighter/Attack, Air Supremacy Fighter, Tanker, EW Variant, Wild Weasel, Recon...etc.

    Everybody.... in America.

Drones sound good however, keep us in mind. We have our own program of course as everybody does these days, but you never know when you might need some in a hurry.

The U.K. is working with the U.S. and there are several British Drone experiments going on at Nellis.

We have the computing power and the British drones have some very interesting aspects about them.
