Yes, this hatred of israel, has of course generated incoherence with many on the left, especially the radical left. They are driven into hating a nation, a group of people, jews, when they must then not hate, or even question the opposition to israel.

And yet, they are strongly against the things prolific in muslim culture in the middle east. No wonder they appear to be a bit nutty, to others, even those not of the right or far right. These faux liberals are driven into incoherence, and incoherent people do appear to be a bit nutty.

They are doing this to themselves by being forced into siding with people with an 8th century mentality, which has created those cultures in the middle east that to civilized people appear to be anachronistic barbarism. What odd bedfellows the left has chosen, for themselves. They are forced into simply ignoring, into ignorance, of the kind of people they must side with in order to oppose israel and sustain the hate. A helluva incoherent place to choose to put oneself! ha ha

Well, I don't think the saudis have a problem with the right of israel to exist. And of course egypt does not seem to have that problem either. That was of course, not always the case.

The main opposition to israel seems to be Iran, and their shia proxies that are closer to israel. Right? Of course, if israel does have nukes, which most learned people think that they do, this is the last line of defense against iran, and perhaps one contributing factor to the continued existence of israel. And that means to me that Iran must never have nukes, for theocracies that hold the beliefs that the shiites in Iran supposedly hold, is a factor which is very important in regards to them ever having the nuclear option. They are still awaiting a particular imman, that figures into their myth of an end times, and islamic hegemony, around the world. People driven by religion wth such a myth in place are more dangerous than a secular nation, IMO.

@LangleyMan - sorry for the delay, but real life has a tendency to interfere with our wishes more often than we'd like...

Regarding my previous post, about the desolated empty Sharon plains and the Carmel, one might ask himself where are the Shia that ruled over there, since all the Muslims in Palestine were Sunni in 1917. Oh, and no Kurds, either.

If you travel today from the southern Sharon to the Carmel, you can see plenty of Arab villages and towns all the way. But the land was empty some 150 years ago, contrary to some claims that Palestinian Arabs thrived in the region for up to 5000 years. Where did those Arabs come from? And all Sunni, to boot.

Another testimony for a barren, desolated, uncultivated Palestine comes from Mark Twain. In his book Innocents Abroad he writes that Palestine "sits in sackcloth and ashes":

Not quite the thriving civilization anti-Zionists like so much to pretend Jews destroyed, is it?

Regarding Arab immigration into Palestine, there are several testimonies, including different British commissions and officials. The subject is well summarized by Professor Fred M. Gotheil of Illinois University in his essay Arab Immigration into Pre-State Israel: 1922-1931.
    https://ia800209.us.archive.org/10/items/arabimmigrationi26gott/arabimmigrationi26gott.pdf

I think you'll find Gotheil's sources interesting, and enlightening. Large scale Arab immigration into Mandate Palestine was common knowledge at the time, it seems.

There is no such thing as "Palestinians" ... they are illegal Bedouin settlers in the holy land.

No, what you gave is some theoretical non relevant example and the Arabs declaring an ethnic war was a fact.

No, none of what you said is "Genocide", but I'm fine with you using this to grind down the Palestinian narrative, cry wolf for 70 years and counting.
