In the 1500s the Dutch were taking slaves from Africa to the sugar plantations in Brazil. This has NOTHING to do with Trump.. He has zero interest in education.

The Dutch were hauling slaves to Brazil in the 1500s for labor on the Sugar plantations.

    Great Question!

THE LEFT ISN’T EVEN PRETENDING ANYMORE: The 1619 Project: Scholarship Or Race Hustling?

In addition to being an obvious effort to sow racial discord in America, the 1619 Project is based upon false, shoddy, and uninformed “scholarship.”

The 1619 Project is a revision of history designed to sow racial hatred and division for unrelated political ends.

Neo-Marxist progressives are in a full court press to destroy the foundations of this nation by tying the Constitution, the application of our laws, and our economic system to racism. There is precious little overt modern day racism in this country — most of what accounts for actual racial incidents today on the fringes of society are hoaxes.

To falsely stir up racial tensions in this country is pure evil. The 1619 Project’s neo-Marxist assault on capitalism and the modern wealth of this nation.

"We"? Do you have a turd in your pocket?

The Republicans fought the bloodiest war in our history to end the Democrat Institution of Slavery in the US. The First Republican President as he was trying to being this terrible war to a close:

Fondly do we hope -- fervently do we pray -- that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue, until all the wealth piled by the bond-man's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash, shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said "the judgments of the Lord, are true and righteous altogether"

Funny that Republicans now insist that the Civil War had nothing to do with slavery.

    Didn't you get the memo?

Funny that the Republicans freed the slaves,
Sad that they had to kill 30% of the military aged Democrat males to get them to relinquish slavery,
Good that they required the Democrat States to ratify the anti-slavery amendment before rejoining the Union.

The Thirteenth Amendment—passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864; by the House on January 31, 1865; and ratified by the states on December 6, 1865—abolished slavery “within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” Congress required former Confederate states to ratify the Thirteenth Amendment as a condition of regaining federal representation.

Congress required former Confederate states to ratify the Fourteenth Amendment as a condition of regaining federal representation.

I do agree, we were still a Christianity theocracy back then, not a secular nation... but racism did continue on for some time, many people back them thought they had a God given right to own slaves

    This is what liberals do.

If there are no racist incidents, they’ll fabricate one.

If history doesn’t help them advance their agenda, they’ll revise it.
