    That was absolutely a case of assault.

    It changed the woman's LIFE.

    And, you wonder why there were penalties for that?

    His lawyer would surely have claimed that the assault had less lasting damage to the woman's LIFE.

    The law is rife with stuff like this. That is, penalties are often less if the outcome of an assault is less significant than what was fully and obviously intended by the perp.

    Oh, and how exactly did it do that?

    If you're just talking about the woman losing her baby, well, a woman can change a man's life and not get any punishment for it.

    I find it paradoxical that pro-choicers who claim "there's nobody in there" are advocating punishment for poisoning the unborn.

    Maybe because they know there's someone in there, and that claim that no one's in there is just a talking point?

    Besides, if you are NOW going to argue that the MAN should be able to DEMAND and abortion, I'm just going to have to consider you one of the more bizarre hypocrites I've EVER seen on the internet.

    I'm glad to see pro-choicers admit abortion harms women.

    (And it must be some pretty serious harm if the person who did it gets 6 years punishment and has to pay $23,000 in compensation)
