I don't necessarily agree with everything Trump says or everything he does. Saying and calling her "Horseface" is probably not what I would have recommended he do. In fact, I would have advised him to just ignore it. But then again, he is a New Yorker and a counter puncher. Living in New York for a spell, I understand his mind sight and why he is like he is. Besides, I have seen liberal passive/agressive New Yorkers who are much worse than he is. This entire fiasco was started by Stormy Daniels who took money to keep quiet and then has been going off to everyone she can to get her story out there. She has been trying since 2012 to sell it. Now, there is a story out there that she admits the affair never happened. She is a money grubbing pornstar and so I have no sympathy. IMO, she is being used by the media and her attorney and in the end, she is the one who will end up tired and broke and a stain on society. But, I guess we'll see. Is that legitimate?
Apparently not. The judge threw out her case. Whenever someone gets caught in a really bad prediction like you @Ericb760 now have I move them to the iggy list. Bye bye.
When you build a case with solid evidence, then we can discuss. I don't have to rebut at all until that happens, and in the meantime I can point out the flaws in your argument. But, for now, you are on iggie until you do build and present a real case.
You mean like your open and shut case based on "This will be overturned"........and NOTHING ELSE? Like that?
Isn't she going to be required to pay Trump's legal fees? So her goFundMe is going to fund Trump....HAHAHA!
I appreciate your response, but I'm afraid I can't agree with it. Excusing his name calling habit as his New York infuence suggests that all people from New York cannot control the impulse to abuse others. And even if that was correct, don't we expect better from the leader of the country?
Nope this was a defamation lawuit daniels filed against trump after one of his rants about her , different case. Nah just you bing bad understanding english.
I don't have an issue with his personality and who he is, although he can be rough at times. I would rather have someone like Trump than someone like Obama, that is for sure.
I appreciate your honestly. And I also respect your right to want a Republican over a Democrat POTUS. I'm just saddened that Americans are accepting of a leader who does not take on the responsibility of role model for young people.
I'm trying to think of a president who shines as a role model. Other than George Washington and Abraham Lincoln there ain't any.
I can think of many - from both sides. In my mind, a role model for children (in particular) is one who inspires them to want to do better and be better. Children don't know or understand political policies - they simply look to the individual and how they communicate.
No, I want a leader that gets stuff done. I want a leader focused on the American people. We can debate all day long if the agenda Trump has is good or bad, but stooping down to berating his personality or choosing a candidate based on anything other than policy is a disservice. Obama was one of the worst Presidents in American history. He was also a horrible Senator. Trump is brash but a real Alpha Male President. It's not Trump's fault Democrats are so wildly triggered over his election win. It's not his job to appease and sooth them. It's his job to fix the mess created by 8 years of Obama and long term issues that Bush and Clinton never tackled. Frankly, it's an embarrassment at how far some people in our country have stooped to protesting and how fragile and frail these Democrats have become.
They should be getting that from their parents and from their teachers who should be pointing out the positive things about the country and not calling Trump a terrorist.
I liked Reagan and Bush Sr. quite a bit. Especially Bush Sr., who was a WW2 pilot. I thought they were great Americans.
The mess Trump is cleaning up goes back more than fifty years. It was and is a diseased mindset. Other than that I agree.
I agree...parents need to be the primary source of teaching when it comes to being a good citizen. And teachers as well. But lets be fair - how many parents told their children that their President (Obama) wasn't even an American citizen? There is bad parenting on both sides. And that's why I hope for a President who will exude an attitude of civility and respect.
Agreed - they don't...which is why my post stated that children don't follow policy. But they know who their president is (at least we were certainly taught that) and they can't avoid seeing them and hearing about them with today's world. Are you suggesting that the position of POTUS is not a role model for children? What about a role model for men and women?
I have no idea. Good parents don't discuss politics with children or point to the President and deride them. Trump is civil and should be respected. #MSM looks to insult him at every chance up to and including, airing fake news. Just because you punch back at your detractors does not make you uncivil. How many liberals had their children dressed up in vagina costumes and marching in Washington? We have actual evidence of this. You think those parents are good role models for their children?
I've enjoyed our discussion, Bucky, but I think this is where we should part company. We aren't going to agree any further...but thank you for engaging.
No it was about a personal embarrassment and paid for out of his own money. A candidate can spend as much of their own money on anything they want. No violation of anything he has a perfect right to do so. And the DOJ lost and lost embarrassingly so trying to prosecute Edwards.
