marijuana does not fit as a scheduled one drug (it has valid medical uses), anyone at the DEA that can't figure that out should be fired

    https://www.dea.gov/drug-information/drug-scheduling

    Schedule I

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are: heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), methaqualone, and peyote.

Your dazed and confused. First you were crying "Lazy and Worthless" .. you then move the goalpost to workplace accidents .. as if your previous comments were not abject nonsense ...

Now you cite a study showed slightly higher accidents .. a study you havn't read, don't understand, .and give no data by which the posted stats you cite can be assessed.

What does 55% more accidents mean .. is that high .. low .. "insignificant" .. you have no idea .. because you don't understand the subject matter.

Pot does not impair driving .. and for those who are not young males ... the crash risk will be lower than average...
    https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R45719

You claimed pot smokers were "worthless" -- I stated not as worthless as you .. This position has already been won .. as evidenced by your posts.. unable produce a coherent thought .. unable to stay on topic .. engaging in nonsensical logical fallacy .. and talking about a subject you don't understand... pretending you do.. at first offering up some joke of an anecdote as evidence for your ridiculous claims.

Then when in error .. pretend you didn't make an error .. and move the goalposts in desperate hope that folks will just forget your previous blunder.. That gets a big fat W mate .. no doubt about it.

Wow… in my first post I spoke of how worthless they are at work. The article I posted in fact backs that claim by all work related studies. If you need that explained to you then you should really lay off the pot.

man’s how much is 55% more in work related accidents? Did you really ask that? It’s 55% more. That’s saying that if an employer were to hire a pot head that pot head is 55% more likely to be injured.

they’re also more likely not to show up on time. How is that any worth to a company. Pot heads are worthless they are not worth hiring

I have seen the effect heavy use has on people of any age, but it is especially hard on teens. Their development just sort of stops. You be careful, those big kids are lying to you.

    1) No .. in your first post (shown above) you just claimed lazy and worthless .. not "at work". Changing claim in the middle of the stream earns you a big W.

    2) Then you demonstrate your lack of understanding of statistics by doubling down on the "55% more" claim - not understanding that without additional data that number tells us nothing in terms of "risk of harm" .. a meaningless number.

As I said .. a study you did not read .. and would not have understood if you had read it .. earning a second (W)

    3) Given 1 and 2 .. much better off hiring the Pot Smoker who does demonstrate "understanding" .. than hiring the likes of (W)

What effect ? and what relevance is anecdotal encounters you have had .. and this doesn' change the fact that you made a big logical error . and thus far have been unable to correct that logical error.

"Development Stops" --- "Kids are lying to you".

Funny - as many of these "Pot Smokers" with retarded development - having smoked hardcore in teens - are a whole lot smarter than you - and you would be lying to yourself if you thought an employer would be better off hiring you than the hardcore -- the hardcore not only being smarter .. but not near as prone to hyperbolic exaggeration leading to bad decision making.

Don't be so frantic, just accept defeat and try to get on with your day. It has to be stressful making up your argument and mine as well.

Not working out every day is bad for you too. I suppose we will need a government mandate enforcing a daily physical training program, with bi-annual PT tests. Alcohol is worse for you than pot. Ban it all. MAny foods are terrible for you. Ban it all.

We need to just let people live their lives when it comes to their own bodies.

Who is defeated ? The one who cries names from the peanut gallery .. followed the desperate cry 'Your defeated" :) Yeah .. who is the defeated one mate heh heh heh ..

You be the one who was crucified mate. your laughable claim that Pot Smokers development stops .. refuted by the fact that despite this disadvantage .. many are way smarter than you - went on to develop just fine .. so .. nothing to worry about mate - take that bong hit .. might do you some good . .

How in the world did you go there? I mentioned the result of overuse of marijuana, and we wound up in the gym?

Marijuana is not a food. Well, maybe if you put it in brownies

Don't read much about serious trend of deaths due to using marijuana. Fentanyl is the problem.

Democrat Politicians want drug overdoses, that lead to death. Why should they, or would they care about someone that dies from an overdose, due to them allowing illegal drugs passing threw their open borders?

Thee more stupid ignorant morons they can get smoking pot, or doing other drugs, the more chemicals they can get into their bodies, and control their minds.

Give them the dope if they don't otherwise break the law.

There will be no "open air" market. Trading drugs on the street would cost them their supply. If you break the link between addictive drugs and drug dealers trying to get people hooked, you've made a difference.
Why are you testing? Some jobs I can see, others aren't a big deal.
No, we're paying the price for making them illegal. We have 1:2m people in prison, many on economic drug crimes.

There are plenty of pot users that never come to your attention because of their behavior.

Give people the pharmaceutical drugs if they behave (don't commit crimes). Help them if they want to get off what they're on. We'll have lots of money left over even after helping people because we won't be tossing as many people in jail.

No, the thread is people holding forth about drug use and offering simplistic answers to a complicated subject.

Decriminalize drugs? No, legalize possession and provide them free to registrants who otherwise stay out of trouble.
