Blaming the mother is rather passe, but still its interesting that you've researched this story. From the OP, the parents said she wasn't mature enough to make such a huge decision. Sounds reasonable to me. They should know her maturity level better than anybody. Especially doting grandparents.

Mother .. father, makes no difference. It's one or both. Munchausens is generally seen more in mothers, but only because mothers are traditionally those with the most access to kids.

Of course gays tell us they were born gay so gender confusion might be inevitable, no matter how screwed up the parents.

 

Yes, that is what some tell us. Not all, and less as time goes on. The smart ones are leaving that door open - given the continued failure to actually demonstrate its reality.

 

Her chances of survival are even worse if they abandon her at this point. In a few months, she would not need their permission or a court order, so them doing this is just turning their backs on her. The reason suicide rates for people like this is so high is the societal rejection. Their best chance of helping her survive, if that is what you are claiming they are doing, would be to support her.
