And it's driven by spoiled babies. Too much First Worldery, plus bad parenting. Lethal combo.

it should be obvious to anyone who knows anything about our form of government.

we should be promoting the general welfare by solving for simple poverty by solving for capitalism's natural rate of unemployment on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States.

No one can survive the bills of a medical catastrophe

How much do you think an avareg hospital stay in the USA costs anyway?

    What a foolish response.

This is why progressive Marxists can comfortably tax away the savings of the middle class to subsidize nonworkers--they have no clue.

Sure it is if you use it properly and combine that with a condom used properly and then watching the calendar for which days you are fertile or just sustain until you can provide for any children you might create, why should the taxpayer pay for the children you might produce just because you wanted to engage in intercourse to obtain your orgasism?

"No one can survive the bills of a medical catastrophe" per @Bowerbird

    1. This is why people have health insurance

    2. Your doom and gloom scenario would only apply to people who a) suffered a medical catastrophe AND b) didn't have health insurance. What percentage of Americans do you assume that would include?

    3. People survive the bills of medical catastrophes every day

    4. This has nothing to do with poor people irresponsibly having kids they can't afford

66% of bankruptcies in the USA are medical

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/11/this-is-the-real-reason-most-americans-file-for-bankruptcy.html

And those people might have had the children prior to the bankruptcy

Love how many cling to the “welfare queen” myth

Well at least the diapers have a lower failure rate than the Trojans

17 out of 100 women relying on condoms will get pregnant

"And those people might have had the children prior to the bankruptcy" ---- if so, then they are not the irresponsible people being discussed in this thread  Pointing to exceptions does not support your argument, it just distracts from the discussion and shows you can't make any legitimate case to support your position and so you are grasping at straws and distractions.

Anyhow..... if we go with "66% of bankruptcies in the USA are medical", that accounts for what percentage of Americans as a whole.....? Bankruptcy rates in the US are somewhere around .01% of people, I believe, so 66% of .01% is a tiny percentage, particularly compared to the percentage of people living in poverty and/or on welfare. (Did you notice your article also said "spending or living beyond one's means" accounted for 44% of bankruptcies? There's that lack-of-personal-responsibility thing rearing its ugly head again....)

    And while we're at it, did your article's researchers use common core math or something? It breaks down the reasons for bankruptcies into 66% medical, 45% mortgages/foreclosure, 44% living beyond one's means, 28% helping friends/relatives, 25% student loans, 24% divorce/separation. 66% + 45% + 44% + 28% + 25% + 24% = (Hillary in a landslide? AOC's Green New Deal math? What?)

Yes, and imagine if they were also on "the pill"! And imagine if they were responsible enough to remember to take the damn pill every day! And imagine if they had enough self control to abstain from sex while they're on antibiotics or any other medications that might effect the pill's efficacy! And what was the other excuse reason you listed? Oh right, "digestive upset", because "diarrhea makes me feel sexy" said No Woman Ever.
