Commercial beer: Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat or some kind of heffenweizen

    Homemade brew: Chocolate Lager

Liquor: Bourbon, preferably Jefferson Reserve (or really any single barrel bourbon). On the rocks straight or even with some Cherry Coke.

Mixed drink: Lime margarita with a little orange liqueur, on the rocks none of that blended (*)(*)(*)(*).

I did forget to mention that my favorite Irish whiskey is a nice bottle of Midleton triple distilled, single malt Irish whiskey...at roughly £120 a bottle.

I've tried em all except Absinthe { tastes very bitter I hear }.
    There's only one Great Libation.
I like Bourbon but nothing tops >

    Cognac

It is somewhat of an acquired taste. But nothing is as smooth.
    Or full of rich flavor.

I've tried literally hundreds of different beers. I don't choose Sierra Nevada Pale Ale because of any hype, I drink it because I like it. It is still my favorite Pale Ale. Taste is subjective. ;) If I ever find something I like better, I'll say so.

Cognac is horrible stuff. I tried a couple of times when people gave me bottles as gifts but just couldn't do it.

In '07 I went on a spree of trying every type of booze out there, and I'll definitely say Cognac and I don't get along.

Most any English ale is far better.
Sierra can't hold a candle to Samuel Smith's,for example.
    Or even Bass.

Vodka is the new Hype Libation of choice.Everyone's in on the scam.
Belevedere is a stand out. Most Russian are good.
    I've found a good Russian { Pyccknn CtahIIapt } from St.Petersburg.
    Smirnoff is good for mixing.

What part of, "it's a matter of personal taste" do you not understand? :omg:

While I do enjoy everything Samuel Smith's makes, I still prefer Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. ;)

When it is beer, Yuengling or Yuengling light. Whiskey/Cognac = Hennessy, Gin= New Amsterdam (i.e. cost versus quality).

Wrong.Hennessey is about the poorest choice for Cognac.
Remy Martin or Martell. But that's VS.There's VSOP and of couse
XO cognac.Courvoisier has a nice Aged 12 yr.old by Patrice Pinet.
Of course Remy has it's 1738.

What are you, the booze Nazi? This isn't a contest about who's right or wrong. The title of the thread is "Post Your Favorite Beers, Liquors, etc... I'm pretty sure that means what you, personally, like the best.

    Sheesh.....

I don't like dry wines. I like the sweet ones. Recently found a blackberry and a raspberry wine, light in color that are very good i think. Rapidan River. Tasty.
