Prove to me how Islam is not the most violent religion

So they willfully ignored the part where Jesus said "forgive them Father for they don't know what they are doing?" No excuse,.....they were not Christian nor followers of Jesus.

Pay attention to what Jesus taught his disciples. "If anyone leads one of these little ones astray it would be better that a giant millstone be tied around his neck and thrown into the sea". The church is not an end in itself. These are imposters and NOT the Body of Christ. Christ indwells in His Body. Sure....there may be sins among the Body, but those in the Body do not WALK IN SIN.

Fresh Air.....I understand what you are saying and we are not far off. My premise that I take from the Scripture is that Followers of Jesus still sin, but they feel remorse and they do repent, BUT they do not WALK IN SIN because the Holy Spirit prompts them otherwise. Test the Spirits.....Know them by their fruits. Walking with Jesus is not joining a club. It is turning in a new direction. Because someone gets sprinkled or baptized does not earn them a thing. It is only a representation of what should have taken place on the inside.

 

Soooo... do you believe Jesus would at least tie a millstone around the neck of one of his children and throw it into the sea? We all need Jesus and hell can be experienced right here on earth. Eternal life only comes by believing and that belief brings about changes. Jesus indwells those who believe. At different rates.....it does bring about change. No change, no belief!

 

as I see it, these middle eastern Abrahamic religions are myths, many interpret them differently, and members of these religions can do bad things - I get what your saying though, but I am just saying they were Christians, just bad ones - most are good ones

 

well if Jesus and God are one and the same, at one time it's said Jesus drowned all living lifeforms on the planet but a boat load, and that included children

an all powerful God would not have to drown everyone, could of just snapped his finger and they be gone or even healed their minds, made them better people

damage to the brain can make good people bad... so we know a lot of the bad in the world is caused by brain damage or chemical imbalances... maybe one day science will be able to help reverse this

2) If however we want to look at violence by Christian since 1900 there are plenty of examples - especially over the last few decades.

We can start with the Genocide committed by Catholic Croatia against Orthodox and Jewish Serbs in WW2 - complete with forced conversions and so on.

Somewhat more recently we have the support for death squad dictators such as Suharto in Indonesia who committed genocide on E. Timor - the same thing in El Salvador and Guatemala - then you have the mass atrocities committed by Christians in these two nations.

We have the tag team "Muslim/Christian" violence during the Iraq/Iran war - where we supported Saddam's use of Chemical weapons against Iran and the Kurds.

We have the Iraq war - where Christians slaughtered over 100,000 Iraqi's - sometimes using chemical weapons.
Christians attacked Libya - turning that nation into a Jihadist wonderland.

Christians were arming and supporting the 911 Terrorists - Al Qaeda - and others of the same ilk in Syria - while these groups were raping, torturing and murdering other marginalized groups.

These are a few examples to start with.

That's one thing that makes Islam attractive to me.
If I believed in God, I would immediately become Muslim.
