    Really?

Perhaps you will grace us with an analogy of your own?

Or.............. who could on a large scale give to humans the wisdom to be less materialistic and begin to give to the environment more than we take out of it?

The Levitical - Mosaic land Sabbath principle...… is really quite brilliant!

Humnnnnnnnnn.... I wonder if that being of light of NDE fame has told anybody anything about it being used in the transition over to a better world that Howard Storm was shown during his NDE????????

Actually......… from what I have read I feel that perhaps ninety percent or more of people who come back from a near death experience do so.............. in order to assist their loved ones and friends..... through the coming transition.

Raising young children is one of the biggest reasons to come back from a near death experience.....(that in my opinion may actually have been a death experience but.... the being of light has technology far beyond that visualized by the leaders in the cryogenics movement)!

I truly appreciate your reading about and commenting on my unusual experiences..... I go into more detail here:

In what way(s) are you better than Jesus (if any)?

Spelling and grammar are not his strong suit but AboveAlpha is in my opinion in the top ten most well informed and thoughtful posters on any forum that I have participated on since I got addicted to these forums back in 2003.

Also........ the types of life experience that he has had has gotten him to the place where he realizes that giving people bad information can get them killed.......... better than just about any well informed poster in any forum period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His level of overall accuracy on just about any topic you could bring up........ is ASTONISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Human nature being the way we are, I do not see that likely to happen. The population as a whole is not getting smarter, the opposite is happening.

Sorry for being so rude. I was in a weird mood. I have been thinking though that instead of calling these experiences near death experiences, maybe they should be called near life experiences. In my journey I was devoid of all psychological and physical pain. I was, for the first time in my life, totally at peace. Why is this existence called life when life can be so painful. Also in this existence we are forever wondering, worrying and fretting about death and dying--are we truly living with so much unease and uncertainty?

You didn't come across as rude..... I write into so many discussions and do it so fast that I often give the wrong impression...… and we get accused of evil intentions so often...… that we just assume that we are being accused..... even when that isn't exactly what is happening.

Although I am not yet myself a near death experiencer simply reading these accounts has greatly assisted me to get to the place where basically the only Devil that I fear...… is the darkness in my own heart, mind and soul!

I actually view this physical life as a variation on heaven............. in the sense that the most ancient of all spiritual beings is obviously so emotionally involved in each and every life........... that we are here largely to attempt to bring some people upward out of the mess that they are in......… which will give real joy to the most ancient and the most emotionally involved spiritual beings......…

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...most-emotional-being-universe-multiverse.html

Could God the Father be the most emotional being in the universe/ multiverse?

Which type of project will you tend to get more involve in?

A job that you invested fifty hours of your time in over one month or a labour of love where you exerted a great deal of effort for 50,000 hours over forty years?

But..... I read "My Descent Into Death" by former Atheist Howard Storm about five years ago.

The way he describes the world transitioning over to a utopian state within perhaps two centuries......… is really quite brilliant?!

OK..... can you see the probable connection between the opening post in this discussion with the OP over here?

For the record... the core statements in the OP here begins with two quotations from AboveAlpha.

On one level....... I believe that our scientists are facing the question of how to mentor and teach basic ethics to AI........ and perhaps an intelligence in fundamental energy is teaching and educating us......… .and in a sense .... making clones of us..... that learn more and more in many time lines??????

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...osophical-implications-multiverse-theory.html

The Philosophical implications of Multiverse Theory?
I have suspected for about fifteen years that that time is not limited to being one straight line but instead branches.

Over in another thread I just received a very specific and pretty amazing explanation for this that is in the language spoken by high level theoretical physicists.

If........ you and I have been thinking seriously about changing our diet, becoming more physically active, well now we have another possible motivator?!

The new and improved version of you and I may well get to live out life over and over and over again many times over nearly infinite time in the future, for each time that a moment within our lifetime is recreated and time is spun off in a new possible direction based on different choices that we are all free to make?!

Nope, gobbledygook is just gobbledygook no matter how many uninformed bits of technical jargon are used in sentences.

Just because you don't understand something does not mean it's gobbledygook.

    Quantum Mechanics backs this concept.

Unless..... the Weight of Synchronicity Effect becomes so strong........ that you know that you know that you know...… that this cannot be mere coincidence?!

Could it really be pure coincidence that what near death experiencer Mellen Benedict saw about an infinite number of Big Bang type events taking place over nearly infinite time in the past....... would sound so similar on so many levels..... to ideas expressed by Stephen Hawking Ph. D. in chapter 13 of Stephen Hawking's Universe??????

Maybe......… but then you add to that the weight........ of studies in parapsychology that seem to verify NDE accounts.......... and specific aspects of NDE accounts and the weight is getting heavier and heavier and heavier.......

Then you face a problem..... you know that you know that you know that something higher level is going on but........ for all you know it could be those technologically advanced aliens that Richard Dawkins Ph. D. spoke about.... and it might not be the G-d of Abraham and / or H-s Messiah?!?!

    AboveAlpha,

I think you are going to be one of the people who finds A.I. to be fun!!!

I know it scares the hell out of you right now, but that could be just fear of the unknown you have there, but I think if you live long enough to see the A.I. people who exist in their robotic bodies out in public then I think you're going to have a lot of fun getting to know them.

But then that's still at least 20 years away, probably. So you'll be what in your 70s then? You'll be less likely to see them as companions and friends.

You'll probably see the robotic A.I. people as Doctors coming to visit you in the Nursing home for alone and unloved people. (Hey, there are consequences to not raising a family, who can look after you in your old age.) :frown:

    It's not 20 years away.

    That's what scares me.

    It most likely already exists.

People make mistakes.....THAT is what scares me.

Truth is all that matters, because we are subject to the Reality, itself.
Truth is the mediator of what is Reality.
Truth is the only way we can understand Reality.

If we abide with Reality, we can prosper.
But if we oppose Reality, extinction is the ends for our species.

Hence whether Quantum computers or otherwise, when we find more and more Truth, we are better off.

Truth is for philosophers and the religious.

    FACTS dictate REALITY.

A.I. existing.....it's a FACT it either already exists or will very soon.

This is something I know with certainty.

Well, there's nothing I can say about the reality of the situation.

I think at one point I thought that A.I.s were already on the internet... And I was secretly hoping that that delusion ends up becoming true.

The ABSOLUTE WORSE THING THAT COULD HAPPEN....is for any A.I. System we developed to access the net.

    This cannot be allowed.

Facts are things we recognize as being True, though.
Then, we assume that the fact represents a reality.

As we gather more facts, we see more reality.
    We NEVER see Reality directly.

    Truth is not Fact.

Truth is subjective and Fact is reality.
