WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ? Please stop as you are debating something you know nothing about. The STATES assign electors based on who wins. The candidates have literally no part in that process. NONE……. Now many states can actually send electors of their choosing, as a lot of states have laws that allow them to send electors that may not reflect the popular vote in their state, but AGAIN, NONE OF THIS HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE CANDIDATES AND THEIR CAMPAIGNS !!!!! Read a basic civics book to understand what you are debating.

Regarding Social Security and Medicare, it is expected to go into the red in 14 years. Politicians have 14 years to solve the financing problem. How much do you want to bet that they do absolutely nothing (which appears to be what you want)? What is going to happen to Gen X? Are we supposed to take it in the neck after spending our entire life paying into this pyramid scheme? I have already written off SS as a viable source of income for retirement. My retirement plans only factor in my own retirement savings. My greatest fear is that the government raids my retirement funds to shore up Social Security. I am positive that people like yourself would be more than happy rob the financially prudent to "save" SS. They did this in Greece and destroyed the lives of millions of retirees. One of the motivating factors for me to retire early is to liquidate my 401K so that the government cannot raid it.
