You either love North Korea or you hate democratic republics. Which is it? It's a simple question. While you are at it, if you voted against Obama, then why do you hate HOPE?
They voted on a motion to remove an untrustworthy Speaker... nobody was going to pass on that opportunity. 2 groups came to the same conclusion from very different directions... it happens...
They've submitted official documents claiming that these were the EC votes of the state, not just "provisional" votes. And not only do the memos I've mentioned say you are full of ****, one of them SPECIFICALLY SAID TO SPREAD THE LIE ABOUT THEIR INTENTIONS THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY COPY/PASTING
I was trying to think of a stupid parallel to throw back to that stupid question. Well done. The best I could come up with was the old "when did you stop beating your wife" gag...
False Jeffries said from the getgo they would join with and support the MAGA faction's action. Kevin McCarthy won't get help from House Democrats House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) shouldn't expect a lifeline from across the aisle as he fights to keep his job. Why it matters: If a half dozen Republicans support the motion to vacate introduced by right-wing Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), which is set for a vote on Tuesday afternoon, McCarthy will need Democratic votes to survive. Driving the news: McCarthy faces a final vote on his leadership within the next two business days after a procedural motion to block the challenge failed on Tuesday afternoon. Ten Republicans voted against blocking the challenge. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said in a letter to colleagues on Tuesday that "House Democratic leadership will vote yes on the pending Republican Motion to Vacate the Chair.".. https://www.axios.com/2023/10/03/mccarthy-house-democrats-motion-to-vacate They had THREE choices and they CHOOSE to join with the MAGA faction. So you think they got what they wished for?
Nope specifically stating PROVISIONAL. Have you even bothered to read Eastman's rebuttal to the California Bar?
No what I’m not okay with is taking a blatantly political process and turning it into a crime under the guise that it’s a “scheme” even if it’s not technically a crime and then tacking on RICO and racketeering charges in order to prosecute your political opponents. But don’t worry. We can play that game too. Because I don’t doubt the Dems are going to try to delay certification or attempt to use a novel interpretation of law to try to keep him out of power. A blatant political process but now subject to RICO and racketeering due to the precedent being set right now.
Yes .he comes with some very unsettling history. and positions . An aside : Busy news day: Trump got fined ....AGAIN for breaking his gag order rule. Wonder how far Johnson will go to appease Trump. (Given that he quotes scripture rather frequently)
They didn't specifically state PROVISIONAL in their paperwork. Much the opposite. And come back when you've actually read Eastman's memos and Chesebro's memo. You have openly admitted you are unwilling to do so and will never do so.
Well yes but now the Dems upped the ante by criminally charging their political opponent with RICO and racketeering charges. It has escalated.
Fake electors are not a "blatantly political process." They are blatantly a crime. Which you have blatantly defended. I don't think that anyone, from any party, should violate the Constitution and the ECA, but you have said you will defend anyone from any party doing so. That's where we stand.
Three of the states who sent alternate electors did. So the idea it was an attempt to overthrow the government is absurd
No. It escalated when Trump went further than anyone in our country's history to overthrow the government and you are now mad that he's being held to task for it.
Which of those three states was Georgia? And you still need to actually read the memos. Because they say you are full of **** and that it WAS an attempt to overthrow, REGARDLESS of what the fake electors thought they were signing up for.
Nah I’m cool with it. I’m just telling you that when the Dems try a political process to stop the transition of power, we get to do the same thing to them.
What do you think Al Gore was doing in 2000? He was preparing alternate electors. There’s documentation and public knowledge that’s what they were doing.
I don't share your belief that any party that wishes to should be able to destroy the Constitutional government just because they think they may have the power to do so. Which, yes, is what you are claiming.
I agree. So when the Dems try to stop the transition of power when Trump wins, we are going to slap them with RICO and racketeering charges
Since you haven't read your own posts, must less mine, we were talking about the RICO case . . . which is in ****ing Georgia. Do I need to explain what a "Georgia" is?
Yeah, we are over on the NY Fraud trial thread having some fun with that one... He had to take the stand for 1 minute and was adjucated to be telling a lie. 1 minute... Johnson's best move is to keep his mouth shut on the Really BIG Guy and do the bare minimum required of him.... Shutdown, Israel, Ukraine
