Republicans will only vote for someone who kisses Trump's butt and has his approval.

Isn't that the definition of a deep state? A non elected official pulling the strings in Washington?

Rep. Mike Johnson is elected speaker of the House, ending weeks of chaos

House Republicans elected Rep. Mike Johnson as speaker of the House, ending 22 days of chaos after Kevin McCarthy was ousted from the job.

It’s a stunning rise for the little-known Louisiana Republican, who is a conservative Donald Trump ally and low-ranking member of the GOP leadership team. Johnson is now second in line to the presidency and will need to get to work quickly to avoid a government shutdown next month.

Listening to him now. He seems articulate, and is saying the right things.
we shall see what he is made of when the job really begins

Well, we here in America would not be entertained in another Trump presidential term.

And I’m going to be more than entertained. Watching the lefties tripping over themselves as they support the refusal of the democrats to turn over power to a duly elected president in an effort to ACTUALLY overturn a democratic election.

It’s going to be glorious. Especially once we start throwing them in jail for months with no trial because they protested too hard at the Capitol and hitting their political leaders with RICO charges and giving the peons and the leaders alike excessive sentences

I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it

He's certainly more intelligent than Kevin McCarthy... that's one of the lowest bars in history...

The "job really begins" the second he has to deal with a Democrat, either Jeffries, Shumer, or Biden...

Does anybody know if the "single vote to get a removal vote" rule is still in place??

EDIT - He just mentioned "the rule of law", "individual freedom" and "human dignity" as some of his governing principles.

SNORT.... Good luck with that, Trump apologist and Abortion banner...

I'm not "the left," I've stated multiple times that he could win, and I've stated multiple times that he could win even if convicted and that this would not disqualify is candidacy. Any more desperate thrashing?

Let’s keep going. If he does win and the democrats refuse a peaceful transition of power, we good for hitting them with hundreds of years of RICO charges? I mean, of course, as long as we can find that someone somewhere within the party committed a crime (like illegally accessing a computer somewhere or making a false statement) in furtherance of this objective?

If any dems attempt what Trump attempted, then yes, prosecute them. No one should try a Trumpian attempt to overthrow democracy and install a dictator.

Fantastic as soon as we see the Dems start making plans of what they might be able to do with to stop him if he does win, I’ll remind you. Cause you and I both know that if trump wins the Dems are not going to give up power to him. They’re going to attempt to stop him from taking power.

And the protests at the Capitol are going to make J6 look like kindergarten.

And I'll look forward to you defending the attempts by dems to overthrow democracy. I'll gladly condemn both, you will gladly celebrate both. It's good to know where we stand.

We’ll see about that. When they start protesting at the Capitol and make j6 look like child’s play and we start throwing them in jail for months without trial and then slapping them with excessive sentences… we will see if you’re still okay with it when we start targeting their political leaders and potential presidential candidates with racketeering and RICO charges.

We will see how okay you are with it then.

Cause apparently, that’s all fair game. So I like playing games like that. It takes us a while to learn the rules but now, you’re having your turn. Its almost time for our turn.

. . . what planet are you on right now? You are LITERALLY proposing that the DEMS might play the GOP game. YOUR game.

Really? You think it’s wrong to charge Trump with RICO charges for crimes that he didn’t commit but people below him did in furtherance of his “scheme” to overturn the election?

No I’m suggesting that we play the Dems game. We get to bring RICO charges against our political opponents now. We get to jail people for months without trial and give them excessive sentences.

Unless you’re telling me it’s wrong for the democrats to do that?

He should only be convicted if he played a role in the scheme. You believe he just sat on his hands and said and did nothing while his thugs tried to overthrow the election for his benefit and at great personal risk. We'll see how that theory goes.

No Trumpist has been jailed without trial on RICO charges. Also . . . jail is literally FOR keeping people pending trial. That's the whole point. I'm going to have to ask again what planet you live on.

I don’t really care what you do to him. Now just as a human being I think it’s wrong to jail your political opponent for 400 years. But as far as politics goes, if you get rid of trump by putting him in jail, it only makes our side stronger and someone more radical than trump will eventually take his place due to the anger the left has fomented.

He isn't being jailed for 400 years. No one is. You also understood earlier today that a person can still run for president if jailed . . . but now you've forgotten. What gives? Any other fantasies to share?

LOL! We will all be very "entertained" by another DJT presidency -- and you know it. ;-)
