if you are the heir of a Holocaust survivor and that survivor dies before he received compensation due to him for forced labor, the heir can receive his reparations payment.

Reparations is a funny idea.

 

Are you aware that in vast majority of cases, Jews are/were receiving back property stolen from them, or compensated for the property stolen from them.

And what was stolen from black slaves? After all, they did get room and board for their services, did they not? And in more recent times, what was stolen from segregated and otherwise deprived of civil liberties blacks, beside their pride and inconvenience?

Unlike Michelle mabel Obama who weren’t proud of America until her husband elected the president of the United States, we should all be always proud of America - we were a racist country, and now we are not.

How many generations of payments will be enough? Will this be based on the number of generations of slave descendants the first slave in that family was the ancestor of? I suppose there could be several generations up to the time Lincoln freed them.

Will the amount of money they receive be based in the percentage of relation in their dna? Will that be combined with how much the released slaves might have gotten and reduced for generational distance?

What is sad is, it's very likely there are those struggling to make ends meet. I feel sorry for them. I've struggled for years. It isn't fun.
