Republicans should have fixed the Impeachment process when they had the chance.

What he said, they are trying to deny due process to set this president up.

    Check out Biden's confession.

Go to minute 1 and keep watching.

So you are now confirming you can't stick to the topic. Cool. I mean, I could have guessed (and did), but the confirmation is nice.

you do seem confused, let me help...... holding up aid unless a foreign government goes after your political opponent is impeachable... and yes Trump will be impeached over it

It is biased. Many on the left have stated conclusions previous to the Senate vote which will be a party line vote in which the right will show their bias by letting Trump go free when they would have kicked a democrat out of office for the same. Both sides are rotten to the core with bias. If Trump were a democrat the House would have never even started an impeachment proceeding.

The Times reports, "John R. Bolton, President Trump’s former national security adviser, knows about “many relevant meetings and conversations” connected to the Ukraine pressure campaign that House impeachment investigators have not yet been informed about, his lawyer told lawmakers on Friday.

"The lawyer, Charles J. Cooper, made that tantalizing point in a letter to the chief House lawyer in response to House committee chairmen who have sought Mr. Bolton’s testimony in their impeachment proceedings, arguing that his client would be willing to talk but only if a court rules that he should ignore White House objections."

Bolton did not show up for a deposition scheduled on Thursday because, his lawyer said, he wants a judge to determine whether he should testify in defiance of the White House.

What is Bolton trying to say here? Bolton strongly opposed Trump's attempt to use extortion in a request for foreign interference in our Presidential election to benefit the President politically, and he referred to Trump's personal lawyer, Giuliani, as a “hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up,”, describing exactly what is happening now. The whole mess is blowing up in Trump's face.

Bolton was fired on September 10, about the time the hand grenade was going off in the Oval Office. Schiff was informed of the whistleblower's complaint on September 11.

Despite not showing up this week, does Bolton want to testify? Testifying would certainly help his book sales.

Or, despite their differences, does the outspoken conservative want to come to Trump's aid? Is he trying to drag this out with court fight?

One thing is true. If it is the latter, the Democrats are not biting although they would to have Bolton testify. They have had their fill of Trump's delaying tactics. They will welcome Bolton if he comes in voluntarily, but they are through with the subpoena business. In the meantime they will trot out their own witnesses.

They will be unimpeded by Trump. Stupidly, Trump will not allow his witnesses to appear in the impeachment inquiry which will go public next week.

The Democrats are delighted with Trump's incriminating recalcitrance.

You say you are a Trump critic. You have a strange way of showing it. Impeachment is contained in our Constitution and you want to change it. That is eerily similar to what Trump is saying.

He called the inquiry a “deranged, hyperpartisan impeachment witch hunt. It’s all a hoax.”

I agree, and those conclusions are, Trump should be impeached.

Have you even looked at the evidence? We know you haven't questioned any of it. Reaching that conclusion is getting more and more obvious.

The inquiry is hyperpartisan on both sides. I don't act like your usual Trump critic because I do my best to set aside my biases and emotion in an attempt to be as objective as I can. Partisans only focus on where Trump is wrong. Objective critics look at where Trump is wrong and where he is right. He is right that the impeachment is a kangaroo court as both sides are rotten to the core with bias and will vote in predictable ways. If Trump were a democrat the House would have never began the impeachment process, instead they would circle the wagons around him just the republicans are doing now. Tribalism makes partisans predictable and the left defends their own, just as the right does. If you want to argue which side is guilty of the greater corruption and bias, then I say in a race to rock bottom that 2nd place is nothing to brag about.

So, in the era of Trump, you claim not to pick a side. You find both sides distasteful, or so you say. How is that working out for you?

as did dems, Trump had to push it though, Trump was like the Criminal that gets away with it once and gets caught but gets a hand slap... then does it again

Trump only has himself to blame for this

ok, why do you want to "change" it, what is it you want to change?

Trump tried to get a foreign leader to go after his political opponent to effect the outcome of his 2020 election.... there is no way that should be allowed

or do you mean that all the Presidents people should be forced to testify or go to jail, and the President should be forced to testify as well - cause those I would agree with you on

Trump has set a precedent, no future President will have to testify nor anyone he does not want to testify... republicans love that now, but wait till it's a democrat in office

the trial is in the Senate, I want Trump to get his due process and would even like him to take the stand to give his side of the story under oath

There was real grounds for it later in his administration -- a ton of grounds if we used the Trump convention (but that doesn't count). But I was responding to Daniel Light's fanciful accusation that Republicans clamored for Obama's impeachment (implied) from the start.

It maybe is impeachable, but it would have had to actually happen to make it constitutionally impeachable.

Open your eyes, ears, and then brain. Dems were talking impeachment the day after the election before impeachment was even a physical possibility. Trump's sole "wrong doing" here is he won.

You hit it right on the head. The fact that they are not cooperating with congress is a sign that they know they've done something wrong but yet refuse to publicly acknowledge it.

yep, makes it pretty stupid of Trump to commit an impeachable offense knowing so many did not like him to begin with
