    BLAME NIXON

    No other president deflated the role of respect for the
    office of the President as NIXON did.

    Although Obama is a close second. And I voted Obama in '08 only.

    Both are liars extraordinaire. Except with NIXON, we expected it.

    America is in trouble when loyalty and respect trumps recognizing a liar.
    We don't even have investigative, competitive journalism anymore. Just lap dog journalists. Go figure!

    he did not use a EO to grant then amnesty, just a temporary stay while Congress writes a bill to address the issue.... or Congress or the next President revokes the EO

    I don't believe that.

    And another thing, since Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen of the USA he is not even eligible to be the president according to the US Constitution. I think anyone who voted for Obama disrespected the office.

    Well, that would seem a reasonable assertion but the fact is that Barack Obama seems to disagree with Barack Obama. I suppose one could attribute either position to Obama depending upon the amount of political courage he was feeling at any particular point of time. Either that or Obama was lying about being for the public option, being against the public options, or he was lying both instances. There was a reason the ultra-liberal Politi-fact awarded him the Liar of the Year Award. In retrospect, I imagine one believes Obama at their own peril or they happily go along with the cognitive dissonance in order to find the bliss in being one of Jonathan Gruber's favorite type of voter.

    It's true Nixon seriously damaged the Office of the Presidency and it took DECADES for the U.S. to recover from that if it has at all.

    But there were many things that Nixon accomplished that were beneficial to the United States.

    After all...only Nixon could go to China.

    Wrong. I'm not a birther. I just know that according to the US Constitution he is not eligible to be president. The Constitution says that the President must be a Natural Born Citizen of the USA. A Natural Born Citizen of the USA of someone who was born in the USA to parents who are U.S. citizens.Obama's father was never a citizen of the USA.

    People who claim that being born on US soil makes you eligible to be president are ignorant fools. They are the true "birthers".
