A very good point - but I was essentially referring to the ruling and military classes.

I like your sig by the way!

That's my main issue with Trump, he skirts a line very close to the progressives of old. A bit like Hitler's move to zero unemployment.

If the GOP abandons free enterprise, who is left to defend it?

The problem with the GOP Old Guard is they simply have lost touch with the people and the times.

Trump used them and you will watch as Trump moves way toward the center as in reality Trump is a MODERATE!!

Hey I NEVER said that we do not make mistakes and most of the time we cause civilian deaths is because of BAD INTEL!!!

It is RARE IN THE EXTREME that one of our missiles or bombs does not directly hit what we want to hit and as I said when we cause civy deaths it is because of BAD INTELLIGENCE!!

Now what needs to happen is that both the United States and Russia need to work TOGETHER as the Russian FSB has very good ground intel as they have a good network of HUMAN ASSETS on the ground in Syria and we the United States have unparalleled Satellite Based Intelligence as well as the NSA intercepts and records every single form of electronic communication happening moment to moment on Earth thus if we work together and use U.S. Weapons Systems for close in to civy population strikes we can dramatically lower Syrian Civilian Deaths as we have specialized ordinance such as small diameter and low yield bombs that we can accurately strike a target with within a plus or minus of INCHES!!

NOW you say it? If that had been done 5 years ago 'Aleppo' wouldn't have happened, and nor would the European refugees crisis. But if you (I'm always referring to your government when I use the second person) ever do get it together with the Russians, please regard them as equals (big emphasis) and not try to take over the show?

"Russians and Turks are now negotiating without the United States. [Washington is] completely cut off from these negotiations and has no idea about what is happening in Ankara"

Need to arrest the government and the Senate of US then 80% of all wars will cease.

I was listening to a BBC interview with the head of the FBI last night: he was waffling on about Syria, Assad, Ukraine blah-blah and it was so obvious he didn't have the faintest idea WTF he was talking about. The head of the FBI!!!!!!

Just to add the problem that is being created when Russian Intelligence locates a location in Syria where terrorists might be is that the Russian Military simply does not have the proper ordinance to use to kill those terrorists when they are located in a densely civilian populated area without causing massive numbers of civilian casualties and when this happens all it does is create MORE TERRORISTS as many times Assad will request a strike and the target will be located between a number of large Syrian apartment buildings and when the Russian Military drops a 500 or 1000 lbs bomb between such apartment buildings sure it will kill the terrorists but it also will destroy most of the surround civilian apartment buildings as well.

Then you have fathers who were at one time peaceful Syrian citizens joining up with ISIS to avenge the deaths of their wives and children.

The United States has developed a number of small diameter bombs and missiles with a much lower explosive yield and because our weapons systems are beyond accurate we can use these and know that although these weapons have no where near the explosive yield of what Russia is using because they are so accurate and dependable we can be confident of destroying and killing the intended terrorist target without causing a huge number of civilian casualties.

I know a great deal about this as it was my JOB and we have Stealth Drones that can fly at 40,000 feet up or higher that cannot be detected by radar....cannot be visually sen or heard....and can fly on station looking and waiting for targets of opportunity for over 24 HOURS!!!

If Russia and the United States can just simply knock off the posturing we can both work together and a perfect example of such cooperation would be something like this.......

........the beyond Top-Secret U.S. National Security Agency or NSA intercepts and records all electronic communication of any kind occurring moment to moment on, above or under Earth, Sky, Space, Ground and Ocean and with the NSA's incredibly complex and capable networked supercomputer and now Networked Quantum Computer Description and Cross Referencing Capabilities we can instantaneously AT THE MOMENT IT OCCURS intercept Electronic Terrorist Communication of ANY KIND.......thus let's say as example if a Terrorist that we are looking for who is a high priority target uses a BURNER CELL PHONE to call one of his Lieutenant's who is in charge of say a group of 20 members of ISIS operating in a small city in Syria where they have set up their Operations HQ between a number of large civilian apartment buildings........this is what would happen.....

........the NSA would first intercept the communication as it does all communication then our networked super and quantum computers using a data description and cross referencing software that allows them to sample the voice on the BURNER CELL PHONE and within a microsecond cross reference that sampled voice frequency with all existing Terrorist Voice Samples and then IDENTIFY THE TERRORIST AND HIS OPERATIONAL HISTORY.

NSA computers and software would also locate the exact point and location of the call as well as the point and location of the terrorist that answered the call and the terrorist that answered would also have his voice sampled and cross referenced within the NSA data base.

One all this information is garnished the NSA would inform the CIA or perhaps DIA and then a determination would be made whether or not this is a target that a CIA Drone could easily take out or if the strike should be handled by the U.S. Military.

If the U.S. Military is considered the best option then the DIA would ordinarily work with either the U.S. Air Force or Navy and either and Air strike or Missile Strike would ensue as U.S. Satellites and Recon Aircraft would be tasked with tracking and watching the target.

BUT......in a case where a target is located directly in the center of a heavily populated neighborhood and it is a target consisting of a number of terrorists who are in constant motion and moving all over the city more intelligence will be needed and in this case HUMAN ASSETS ON THE GROUND ARE NECESSARY!!

Now we could use U.S. Special Forces and that usually works well but in some cases it is better to have a deeply implanted HUMAN ASSET or SPY on the ground preferably embedded with the actual terrorists and this is something the Russian FSB EXCELS AT!!!

And in a case like this where the Terrorist Group is always moving and in motion an FSB Asset would be able to give the Russian's the date and times when the vast majority of the Terrorists are located AT ONE SINGLE LOCATION such as if say they had a meeting at 2 am on Tuesdays.

If Russia and the U.S. worked with each other then the United States could give intelligence garnished by the NSA to Russia as the NSA could garnish the who...the where and the why and when that intel. was given to the FSB the FSB could then direct one of their Syrian Assets to embed himself into the group or even the civilian population near the Terrorist HQ.

The the FSB asset would inform the FSB that on Tuesday as 2 am there will be a large meeting of terrorists at the location the NSA discovered and then the FSB would inform the CIA which would inform the DIA which would then direct the U.S. Air Force to send in an F-22 Raptor or Perhaps a Stealth Drone both carrying small diameter LOW EXPLOSIVE YIELD MUNITIONS which we could drop EXACTLY AND PRECISELY upon the Terrorist Headquarters located between the large civilian apartment buildings in that Syrian city resulting in the deaths of ONLY THE TERRORISTS and NOT THE CIVILIANS living in the surrounding apartment buildings!!

Anyways that is the way we NEED TO WORK TOGETHER!!!

OK.....look we will work with the Russian's but even though we will observe appropriate etiquette there is no way to avoid the reality that Militarily WE ARE NOT EQUALS!!!!

Look right now you have Russia dropping high explosive yield bombs right in the middle of Syrian Cities and Apartment Buildings KILLING THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!!

All that will result in is the creating of more terrorists and the ONLY way to do this properly is for the United States to take over targeting and bomb dropping and missile strikes when a terrorist target is existing in the middle of a highly populated Syrian city or town!!!

The Russian FSB has a very good network of Human assets on the ground in Syria and what we need to do is have the NSA direct the CIA to inform the FSB where these deeply buried within the Syrian Civilian Population Terrorist Hotbeds are located!!!

Then the FSB can get a human asset in there and then inform either the CIA or DIA where, when and how the vast majority of the terrorists at that location will be gathered for a meeting.

That intel. will then be used to direct either a U.S. Military or CIA Air Strike using either manned jets or drones that will carry specialized small diameter low explosive yield ordinance which we the United States have that is so precise we can depend upon it to directly strike and destroy the terrorist target WITHOUT destroying and killing the surrounding civilian population center and buildings.

What thousands are you talking about? Just two days ago Syrian government forces seized the half of the rebel-held territory of East Aleppo. The rebels ran away, abandoned their positions, so the government troops didn't need to fight in these areas - no airstrikes, no artillery shellings, no tank attacks and so on - thousands of buildings remain intact, tens of thousands people avoided bloodbath on the streets. This is brilliant result. And this is completely opposite to what is going on right now in Mosul.

I think that he's referring to the total number of civilians killed rather than any single bombing mission.
I don't think that any airforce would in this situation kill thousands in a single strike.

Look as I said Russia and the U.S. need to work together but the number of civilian deaths caused by Russian airstrikes is way too high.

The United States has conducted 12,633 strikes in Iraq and Syria (7,107 Iraq / 5,526 Syria) and these are ACTUAL STRIKE SORTIES as the total number of sorties is 125,454 as of Sept. 17th 2016.

Do you know how many combat aerial strikes Russia has conducted in Syria?

Russia has flown only 864 Combat Strike Sorties out of a total of 9,000 flown sorties.

    ONLY 864!!!

Do you know the what the ratio of Russian caused civilian deaths are in those 864 strike sorties compared to the number of civilian deaths caused in the U.S. Military's 5,526 strike sorties flown in Syria?

The Russian Military's 864 flown Strike Sorties has killed approx. 28 TIMES the number of Syrian Civilians that the U.S. Military has in it's 5,526 Combat strike Sorties in Syria!!!!

Now do you see the problem?

Two questions on that:1) Do you think they're doing so for the sheer fun of it? And 2) Do you have a better idea how they can destroy the cowardly extremists who are sheltering among those THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE? If the answer to 2 is 'yes' I'm sure Pres. Putin will be pleased to consider it. And as for you and Russia NOT BEING EQUALS, how about this idea - you supply the hardware and let Russia supply the know-how? Deal, or no deal? (NB: I won't be waiting for the answers because as is usual with you when I pose awkward questions, none will be forthcoming).

Technicly the us is in violation lf international law and are violating Syrians air space bombing his country and on a few ocassions did it to aid the rebels against him In the passed
So if he had the equipement he would be well in his right to shoot them down(Atleast if we follow Turkish logic), fortunatly he seems smart enough not to. As it would just be used as a excuse.

The low number of Russian airstrikes probably means they are much more effective than the US ones, as the all major successful operations against ISIS - like liberation of Palmira and Eastern Ghouta, advance near Hama and Homs and in province of Latakia, and finally the defeat of rebel forces in Eastern Aleppo (even though the USA doesn't recognize them terrorists) - were caused by Russian military aid to Syrian government. Also Russian militaries help Syrians not ony with airstrikes, big work has been done on the ground, that's why Assad enhanced control over Syria from 14% of its territory a year ago to about 40% now.

As for the figures on the US airstrikes you provided, The Globe and Mail says:

This brings the total number of civilians killed by the Coalition to 173 since strikes started in 2014, which is significantly lower than estimates from other groups.

In October, Amnesty International said the U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State had not taken enough precautions to avoid civilian casualties in Syria and that as many as 300 civilians have been killed in 11 attacks conducted by the coalition since September 2014.

    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news...d-54-civilians-in-iraq-syria/article33121949/

It's clear, the USA simply doesn't know how many civilians were killed by their airstrikes. Moreover, they prefer to use the sources which call lower numbers of casualties of the US bombings, such as the notorious Syrian Observatory for Human Rights from London, which is used by western government for spreading anti-Assad and anti-Russian propaganda while never been any kind of unbiased source of information.

Thus, on November 17 During Wednesday’s State Department briefing, spokesman John Kirby accused Russia and the Syrian regime of the bombing of “five hospitals and at least one mobile clinic in Syria.” RT’s reporter Gayane Chichakyan asked Kirby to specify the details of the alleged incidents, including their location.

“I’m not making those accusations, I’m telling you that we’ve seen reports from credible aid organizations,” Kirby said, refusing to clarify any details on the alleged attacks or even give the list of the “many Syrian relief agencies.”

As it later was revealed, Kirby referred to the information of World Health Organization, and indeed we can find the pubication on WHO site, but they say three of these five hospitals were located in the government controlled area of Western Aleppo.

So, in general we see that the USA in the case with their airstrikes:
    1) underscore the numbers of civilians' deaths;
    2) use biased sources which provide wrong information;
    3) try to attribute terrorists attacks on civilians to Russia and Syria.

We definitely can say nobody really knows how many people died of either US strikes, or Russian strikes, or Syrian strikes. We have complete absence of reliable information, so all these figures which are handed around in the world media is highly likely is a creation of somebody's imagination rather than any sort of relevant information, and of course I can't trust the information provided by the US State Department.

We also know that western media and western governments use the issue of civilians in Syrian war as propaganda's tool. They were full of helping care towards people of Eastern Aleppo when the government troops stormed the terrorists' stronghold, but immediately forgot about these people as soon as the half of Eastern Aleppo was liberated and tens of thousands of locals were saved by Syrian army. Western media were whining about poor people in the Eastern Aleppo, they said Syrian forces and Russia don't allow hunanitarian aid to be delivered there, but when the roads were cleaned and open for aid, and Russian reconcilliation ceter said - it's ok, now you can deliver as much aid as you want - all these crying persons and "humanitarian observers" simply got lost.

I told you what we must do we need to work together using the NSA, CIA, FSB, DIA as well as using U.S. Weapons Systems specifically designed with small diameter low explosive yield and accurate in the extreme GPS and Laser Guiding Munitions to strike terrorist targets that exist deep within highly populated areas because these U.S. Weapons Systems and Munitions are DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS PURPOSE unlike much more inaccurate and high explosive yield Russian munitions.

Yes, I remember you saying that, and in response I asked you how such 'low yield' explosive could reach an enclave of terrorists/civilians who are ensconced in the underground cellars or basements of an apartment building.

First of all our Air Strikes have been highly effective and the list of ISIS weapons systems we have destroyed is VAST!!

Look....both Russia and the United States have things we do REALLY WELL!!

Russia has extremely good FSB GROUND ASSETS in Syria.

The United States has unparalleled Satellite Intelligence gathering capabilities plus the U.S. Military and CIA has weapons systems and munitions that are specifically designed to surgically strike and destroy Terrorist weapons systems and personal without killing large numbers of civilians.

IF....IF...we can just work together we can end this terrorist group and threat ONE AND FOR ALL!!

But when Russia just starts dropping 1000 lbs munitions in the middle of highly populated Syrian areas to kill a few terrorists but at the same time it results in killing large numbers of civilians as well....that is just going to create even MORE terrorists!!

We really need to work together.

If you mean the strategy should be to search and destroy, how on earth could those forces - combined or otherwise - locate the insurgents in a city like Aleppo. Think about it: we've all see newsreel of present-day Aleppo where every street is covered in rubble from the buildings on both sides that have been bombed. It would mean your ASF and the Spetsnaz entering those semi-destroyed buildings one-by-one to see if there is anyone in them, and as if that isn't impossible enough without appalling casualties of the searchers, they'd have booby-trapped devices to cope with as well? And then as if THAT isn't impossible enough, it brings us back to the question I've asked so many times which you don't seem to want to answer, which is . . . in the inevitable shoot-out how would those forces be able to distinguish between the jihadis and the civilians?? I suspect that you know as well as I do - they wouldn't? So boots on the ground is NOT an option??

First of all I stated that oil would eventually drop that low or around it right after Lockheed Martin began building it's Low Temp. Micro fusion reactors in a few years as they have already had 5 successful tests.

Secondly are you trying to say your smart?

I refuse to believe that the high-tech equipment you mention could pinpoint a bunch of human beings in the basements of hundreds/thousands of bombed-out apartment buildings and office blocks.
