That is a different issue as Syria has a primarily SUNNI POPULATION and Assad is an Alawite Shiite!!

Alright, indulge me just this once and if I don't see it this time I'll never raise the subject ever again - promise: so - in a scenario where your Special Forces have busted into a jihadist stronghold, and given that there will undoubtedly be civilians there too, how do they know who to kill and who not to kill. I mean it really is such a simple question, and I can't understand (especially as you've answered it 'several times') why I've never been able to grasp what ought to have been a simple answer. But just this once? Then I'll shut up.

First we use the NSA and CIA to locate the Terrorists Location.

The we use an FSB asset on the ground to get right in there and even possibly join up or perhaps just blend in and watch as the asset will be Syrian!!

Then the FSB asset reports everything from where they meet to how many and takes pics of everyone coming in and out at what times...etc.

That intel is then looked at by a joint U.S./Russian Strike Determination Group and then perhaps Special forces will be used or maybe even a Drone...etc.

This way we know WHO...WHEN...WHERE...HOW MANY....ETC!!

    Got it??

Okay but I still don't know how you can pin-point a group of human beings hiding out deep in the underground basement of one of ten thousand buildings, and on a city-wide scale.

What, you mean the FSB (whatever that is) has burst into the stronghold and is assessing who's who so they know who to kill and who to not kill? I'm not being awkward, I'm just trying to visualise the scene as you're giving me to understand it. And how could they burst in then start 'blending in'?

So having burst into the stronghold they're taking pics of it, and all the while photographing who's coming and going?

Then they start transmitting the intel?

By which time they'll all have been shot dead by the jihadists. Okay, I know when to stop bashing my head against a brick wall - you win.

No, but I don't want it now 'cos I've lost the will to live. :blankstare:

    You are KILLING ME!!

The FSB is the Russian version of the CIA and they used t be the KGB.

They have SYRIAN ASSETS on the gound we can use to infiltrate or just observe Terrorist Locations and relay that intel so we can determine whether to use Special Forces or a Drone...etc.

There is always a difference when you Americans want to interfere in other countries, you always seem to have a logic explanation for everything, yet you leave every country in the dust and total misery.
That you ordinary people haven't figured this out makes me quite amazed.

There are five million Syrian refugees .. mostly Sunni who can't go home as long as Assad and the Baathists are in power. They risk imprisonment or death.

Can we send them to YOU?

In USA there are many people who are dissatisfied the government. They have the right to take up arms and defend themselves from the tyranny of USA. I'm sure a lot of countries will call them the freedom fighters.

You are being ignorant aren't you, talking all like you give a damn about the "sunnis" yesterday most of you didn't know one damn difference between sunnis and shias and today you all act like some professionals. I am the one of us living in Europe and receiving all those immigrants not you. Where were all those sunnis before this thing your government created? Yea thats right, in Syria, where the Christians and also Jews lived under the horrible "dictator". I cant remember seeing any Syrians running for their lives? You know that Syria was an open country, people could move freely.

The amount of ignorance coming from you people is frightening.

Nah.. we have checks and balances in place.. Americans won't burn the house down because one candidate or another lost.

Syrians had no such options.. The Alawites are a Mafia minority.. They can smuggle drugs or kidnap for ransom with impunity..

I most certainly do know. I lived in the ME for two decades and have been to Damascus many times. Why don't you invite 5 million Sunni Syrian refugees to settle in Serbia?

Because our country has become a mess partly due to your countries war games. And because we are not responsible for the mess you create, it's only fair that your country and the countries that bomb these middle eastern countries also accepts all the refugees.

Btw Serbia is one of the countries that in this moment house most of the refugees that are on their way to the western parts of Europe.
It also has over 400 000 refugees from the EX Yugoslav republics.

Btw you Americans always like to think you are helping others with your wars, why not put all the refugees on a boat and ship them to you? I mean the land of the free and home of the brave certainly must have some spare rooms ;)

US secret service staged the performance to justify the invasion in Serbia. England, USA, France, Germany etc. are war criminals.

You should know by now that the Great US of A and its poodles in Europe always know what's best for everyone else on the planet?

The more I think about that, the funnier it gets - or would be funny were it not so worrying inasmuch as we're being steered toward war by the fools.

Assad turned his military on the people in Feb 2011 because of school boy graffiti .. NATO was not involved in that slaughter,

You sure, Margot? I know poor ol' Assad is being subjected to 'Give a dog a bad name' syndrome but I don't think he'd do that just for a bit of graffiti.

Western propaganda has told the tale for fools. And before that, intelligence services of NATO trained, armed, funded the army of terrorists on new pickups of Toyota during many years.

I could of course deliver many examples of such things against Russia too... but why counter?

More important and serious are these 2 examples showing some reality of Syrian War:

And who fights the ISIS in reality now? Ehm ... well ... :bored:

You don't hurt my feelings ... no worries!
Even I would exclude FSA a little bit from this "honorable" society of scum, as well put others inside you will no include as for example Hezbollah, we need not to discuss that Al Nusra and ISIS are both scum.

But isn't it interesting that the complete world of all sides is blabbering how evil ISIS is, but in reality Putin is bombing in majority Al Nusra and not ISIS as Erdogan bombs Kurds and not ISIS too? And isn't it interesting that all this terrorist scum is fighting each other too?

How many people here in forum know the following facts, what do you think?

    a) ISIS was a long time allied with Al Qaida, now both are deep enemies and all the brutal evil things we know that both do, they are doing each other too as burning alive, cutting heads off etc.
    b) Al Nusra is a deep Jihadist scum too, but in war with ISIS and the alliance with Al Qaida is over too
    c) ISIS is even fighting in Afghanistan and they declared war to Taliban too and even started to make bombings against them...
    d) No matter how someone is rating Hezbollah at least ... what is pure personal opinion ... they are fully involved too!
    e) HAMAS in Gaza and Palestine is in last step to get in war with ISIS too, because ISIS declared they have end their independence and to be part of them ... and if not, they are seen to be enemies.
    f) PKK is rated to be terrorists, but Turkey is making no differences here and they attack complete Kurdish rebels... no matter if PKK, YPG ort whatever group!

And over all is again the question: Who is fighting ISIS really and who is not doing full in wee-known behavior of "enemy of my enemy is my friend" behavior when ISIS fights their priority enemies too...
