You can always find charlatans, even with prestigious diplomas, who will spit in the soup for a variety of reasons.

The reality worldwide is overwhelming, though: if you wear them properly (the way some people wear them makes you realize why condoms are not always efficient!) and change or wash them from time to time, they're very efficient. To the point that they contributed in largely decrease the number of seasonal flu cases.

With the huge effort to manipulate data in favor of Covid, the decline in seasonal flu cases is a statistical phenomenon, not a reality based phenomenon.

 

Masks do not stop viruses, dude, no matter how tightly fit they are. A virus is much smaller than the pores of any mask.

The "decrease in flu cases" was due to flu being reclassified as covid to prop up covid numbers. Flu viruses and covid viruses are the same size. If mask wearing made flu numbers go down to almost nothing, then covid numbers should have likewise gone down to almost nothing. They didn't.

Hence, masks do not stop viruses, flu was reclassified into covid, and this is all a huge hoax to fear monger people into receiving a sterilization/death jab.

 

I don't disagree but the drop in flu cases are almost certainly due to the other measures that were imposed ie closing and limiting public places where people congregate. Masks likely had little to do with it for reasons you provided.

 

Now if only there were solid data to support your "almost certainly" thoughts.

It is said that mask wearing is the reason why flu numbers are almost non-existent. IF flu is spread in the same manner as covid, and IF flu is the same size as covid (both are true btw), then why have covid numbers always been "spiking" while flu numbers have always been "nearly non-existent"? IF masking wearing is what is keeping flu numbers down, then mask wearing should have also kept covid numbers down as it supposedly did for flu numbers...

Flu numbers can also go down, while covid numbers go up, because flu is being reclassified into being covid... Heck, the other day, I saw a news story where leukemia was being reclassified into covid just to fear monger about a teenager dying "due to covid". Bullshit. It was the leukemia that killed the child.

Heart disease, cancer, stroke, pneumonia, flu, vehicular accidents, and etc. are all being reclassified into "death by covid" rather than death by heart disease, cancer, etc...

In short, beyond the existence and spread of covid, and half a million people dying from other causes, this is all one great big giant con job on the populace.

How do you know they didn't? People transmit the virus, limit person to person contact and you limit all viruses.

 

HEY! I like my plexiglass barrier.. keeps people from leaning over my counter to look at my computer screen, and I like social distancing.. I used to be just a standoffish prick.. but now I am "social distancing" AND I like fist bumping instead of handshaking.. a bunch of the gladhanders where also big drinkers... you know.. people that hold their dicks alot because they pee alot.. AND one of our kids now can work from home.. so we got a more reliable renter now (tho' I'm actually selling him the place... kinda a prepaid inheritance! LOL) There's a whole host of things I don't have to do anymore because I can blame it on "covid" .. and it makes the obienient subjects of the State so much easier to identify 'cause you see them in their cars, alone, with a mask.. or walking outside, alone, with the mask.. (actually.. this part if scary.. so many clueless dupes.. it's no wonder the rise of Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia was relatively easy)

My opinion? The whole hysterical response to this virus was political.. used to unseat a popular peacetime President in a economic good times. The Left saw everything about the response as a bonus.. got rid of a bunch of sick and old people (and denied effective treatments, thus killing even more people) rigged the voting system, gained a totalitarian level of control over the population.. what is there not for a Leftist to love.. this is what they've done to gain and keep power since the first commies took control of a country.

Yes, covid needs to infect people ("have a host") in order to replicate and subsequently spread via air currents (it is an airborne virus), but anywhere an infected person goes, the virus is being spread into the air. Air currents can spread a virus across very long distances, and viruses can stay in tact in the air and on surfaces for hours (even beyond a day, if conditions are perfect). Lockdowns (especially given the fact that people are still allowed to go to "essential" businesses) do not stop this sort of spread.

Viruses travel on water vapor when they are airborne. Mask particles are smaller than vapor. We know this because when we wear masks in the winter there isn’t as much a visible breath. Which we know is vapor from your mouth leaving your body.

There is less visible breath because there is less airflow. Same thing would happen if you'd cup your hand over your mouth.

Viruses are escaping an infected person's body (and entering into the air and surfaces around them) whether or not they are wearing a mask.
