I believe some of Haitian TPS are in the cusp now and DACA kids face an immediate change under court ruling. DACA is unconstitutional and no guaranty because Congress didn pass it. Trump is offering that change to LEGALLY protect them for three years, along with the enhance border security, and Pelosi is saying NO.
Give me a rational reason the Democrats should refuse this latest offer.

Pretty sure Trump's attempt to kill DACA has been stopped by the court and the Supreme Court has declined to take up the case in this session. That would push it to the next session with a late 2020 decision at best, and even that would come with a delay in allowing Trump to deport, pushing things to 2021 when a Dem President can reverse course.

The Dems should refuse any offer that was not originally agreed to by the President and Republicans. Trump broke the Deal, which is no way to negotiate.

No they didn't...they want the wall...they say it's KEY....the article you posted didn't show any of that...it talked about how some of the items they have been able to seize was at ports of call...where they have walls, security etc....think of all that doesn't get caught in places there is no wall, no security.

I gave you a citation, showing that they did. Lol

You'd think you'd learn to stop doubling down on claims that have been completely disproven. This is like 3 or 4 in the last week.

You should probably either stop making claims that are false, or at least stop doubling down on them after I've proven them false.

What did I say that was wrong?

What's your point? Yes....people can dig tunnels...that makes illegal crossing that much more difficult. That's a good thing. People can dig tunnels out of prisons...should we stop locking up murders then?

that border patrol agents didn't show trump that a wall won't work.
that a wall is a useless waste of tax payer money.
do they sell spade shovels in prison, like they do anywhere else? how about ladders and rope? Are those sold in prison too?

They didn’t...the writer of that article made that assumption.

Then why does our Govt build so many?

They got a lot of places selling those in the middle of the Arizona desert?

    they did, as I showed.
    huh?
why would an illegal buy a ladder or rope or shovel, if they've already made it to the US?

No you didn’t...it’s clear you don’t read your links.

Why does our govt build so many walls if they don’t work?

    So there aren’t any.

The SCOTUS said they would not jump in ahead of the lower courts, it needs to go through the appeals court before it gets to them if it does at all but likely will. If Congress passed a LAW then even if DACA is ruled an unconstitutional Executive Order. The DACA kids and TPS have LEGAL protection. That is what Trump is offering in return for his paltry $3.4B additional for border security and Pelosi says NO keep the governmnet shut down.

every link I've ever given you, has directly refuted your position. For some reason, you pretend they say something other than what the clearly in plain English say. It's amusing.
    decorative, mostly.
I don't understand why you think an illegal would buy a shovel, ladder or rope, in the Arizona dessert, AFTER they've already made it to the US.

    1) wrong
    2) the BoP, and DoD disagrees....but either way you are at least conceding that some are to keep people out. Because they work
    3) get good point, I should say the Mexican desert...either why you get he point there isn’t. Certainly they could purchase at some point along the wa, the wall of course slows them down. Walls obviously are 100 percent, nothing is.

Back on topic, this is sort of interesting, if you are into the minutiae of Senate life

Here is what happened on Tuesday, and what will happen today

    SNIP
As a reminder, during Tuesday’s session, the Senate proceeded to H.R.268, Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2019. Senator McConnell then called up Shelby amendment #5 (Trump’s funding and immigration proposal) and Senator Schumer called up amendment #6 (text of H.R.268, Emergency Supplemental with CR through February 8 ). The Senate reached an agreement that it be in order to file cloture on the two amendments during Thursday’s session of the Senate, and that any cloture motions filed on these amendments be treated as if they were filed during Tuesday’s session of the Senate and ripen at 2:30pm on Thursday, January 24th in the order filed.

Thursday, January 24th at 2:30pm – 2 roll call votes

    1. Motion to invoke cloture on McConnell for Shelby amendment #5 (Trump’s funding and immigration proposal)

    2. Motion to invoke cloture on Schumer amendment #6 (text of H.R.268, Emergency Supplemental with CR through February 8 )
    ENDSNIP

    https://www.democrats.senate.gov/2019/01/23/schedule-for-thursday-january-24-2019

    Everything ripens today at 2:30pm...

    demonstrably correct.
they don't work, as the border patrol showed you and trump.
wait, you don't think they have ladders, ropes or shovels for sale in mexico?

    1) another example here of you not reading your link...sad.

    2) the Border Patrol did no such thing....you're article was a piece where the author made a assumption. Walls work...and the Border Patrol overwhelming, as I showed you, supports one...in fact they said it's KEY

    3) Sure...not in the desert though....as I stated, they could purchase them along the way...making things much more difficult. People can buy those things in any town, or city....that doesn't stop people and Govts from putting up a lot of walls.

it's plain English, and I always quote directly from my link, the portion which destroys your claim. Lol.
they quite clearly showed how walls don't work, as I quoted for you.
walls are mostly decorative. they are useless in the 21st century to try and prevent someone from crossing a border, as they are easily defeated by a shovel, ladder or rope, as the border patrol showed you.
