History has made no such thing. In fact, there were no significant political scandals in the Obama Administration, other than the ginned up fake controversies that the GOP pushed for eight years, and still can't let go of two years after the fact.H
I cannot think of a single significant Obama administration employee who was forced to resign over malfeasance in office or corruption.

Donald Trump's administration shattered that record in its first ninety days.

The Bush Administration was probably the most corrupt in modern times. Well over 150 resignations involving corruption, malfeasance in office occurred during the Bush years. He went through three Attorney's General. a Defense Secretary, and Interior Secretary, and Deputy Interior Secretary (who went ot jail) a herd of Chief's of Staff, and the list goes on.

The Trump Administration will be the most corrupt since the second Grant Administration, widely considered the most corrupt in American history.

With Trump, it starts at the top. The man has always been currupt, and has a particular taste for gangsters and shysters (being on himself). Everyone from Trump and Kushner to Pruitt and Zinke are openly and obviously for sale.

Well, when the "genuine thinkers" embrace facism, and tell us it is unpatriotic to criticize your leader, or for the press to do it, and cite as their sources blogs, political public relations operators, and professional liars who are collectively invested in peddling an agenda and are largely indifferent to facts, the reaction is natural.


I was certainly right about this latest manufacured act.

Trump demanding the Justice Department talk to Nunes about classified information was never anything more than an attempt by the subject of an investigation to use his power to force prosecutors to show evidence in advance of any charges. Information that the subject is not legally entitled to.

The plan was to force a meeting, and then have the Republican member reveal what they had been told to Trump and (selectively) to the public.

The gambit failed. Which is why Adam Schiff had the last word, buried the entire thing, while the Republcians in the room slinked silently by avoiding the cameras.

Of course, while all this noise was going on, we learned that the Trump team had been approaced by the UAE with an offer of help and money, the North Korea summit fell apart, we learned the Michael Cohen has been selling access to the President, and, while nobody was looking, the GOP repealed all the laws that protected us from another finacial crash.

You looked at the shiney object. Just like Trump wanted you to.

Besides the idea that far right wing ideologues who bob their bobble heads when Sham Hammity. Limbaugh or Levin bellow nonsense after then aren't thinkers at all.
