I disagree they are meat. Something similar? Okay. We don't really know what they are. Cod is good eating. Trout and salmon are good eating. I've never tried many other fresh water or salt water fish. I would not eat raw tuna. I think that's pretty disgusting, too. It's also lazy on the part of the cooks, in my opinion.

Psychologists know what to say to persuade folks they are mistaken and believe something untrue or that is good for investors. Businesses employ the best. I would not simply believe advertisements, nor those who've tried this stuff without checking on it thoroughly. I've eaten lobster, shrimp, and crab. Of the three, I like prepared crab the best, but it is still an arthropod, which includes spiders and barnacles.

Some indigenous tribes of South America catch bird eating tarantulas in large leaves and build a fire. Once the fire is ready, they pull the abdomen off with a twist and cook off the "hairs" over the fire. Once they are satisfied with it's level of doneness, they eat the "meat" from the rest of it. I suppose, if I could not catch anything better, it would be necessary to do that.

Oh, you'll laugh. they use the 3/4" long fangs to pick their teeth when done eating. Ha!

Eat what you want. Just don't pressure me to eat what you like.

How did the huge oil spill affect the shrimp? Are they loaded with carcinogens? That's one of the problems with bottom feeders. It's sad, really.

A bout with food poisoning from a BK fish sandwich cured me of fast food fish. I'll do LjS, but that's it. Also dont care for catfish. Best fish fry Ive had was crappie. Fish is one food I prefer to eat at nice restaurants. Rarely cook it at home... cant stand how it stinks up the house. :fishing:

there is a lot of false advertising going on, they do not honor the prices they show on tv.

i don't mind the mercury, radiation, or fried sofa cushion filler, but the fake news is really bad.

I will, sometimes, though rarely, get a nice salmon steak and cook it with some spices and schtuff. Nothing too gross...I can't remember the recipe, but it's pretty good and uses dill weed. I cut off the lower portion of meat and only eat the stuff toward the dorsal fin.

I've purchased and prepared cod or Pollock or some kind of whitefish. I don't remember which. I think it was cod. Sometimes, those patties on sandwiches are ground up and mixed with something that will hold them together and then formed and breaded. I'm not too keen on that, but I'm pretty sure I've eaten it in other forms, by different manufacturers.

I used to like going to the city and getting a fish sandwich from the monger. It's gone now, and I haven't been there for a very long time, like two to three decades. It smelled a bit fishy in there. ha! the fish was so fresh and good......it was a fun experience, too.

I'm about to be a vegetarian if food gets much more threatening. But right now I'm eating a hot dog.

The smell goes away. I have cooked lots of fish and just had salmon patties yesterday and half a hot dog today. Usually don't eat meat more than twice a week.

I don't cotton being a harbinger of sorts but the Japanese
Tsunami Nuclear Disaster is and was a HUGE deal.
A major Nuclear plant was breached BIG TIME and is still
leaking.Do you honestly believe our Government let alone
any Japanese Government is about to tell the God's Honest truth.
    Especially now.
As far as I'm concerned this is how Governments operate.
Like how Iceland finally had One gun fatality and it was like
an indictment of need for Gun Control.
We are living in a post Franz Kafka worldview.
Without most Americans a clue ?

    Did you see this?

    http://www.collapsingintoconsciousn...r-days-of-eating-pacific-ocean-fish-are-over/

Is that what has you rightly concerned? Is this article what has caused everyone to talk about fish? I thought you guys just liked fish. I didn't connect it, but it makes sense that the industries would collapse, if this gets out. The cost of fish will soar wildly and no one will be able to afford it. It might be a good time to start a few farms for raising fish?

The problem with farm raised fish is not the fish, but it is, once again the farm owners, who inject the fish with steroids to make them grow quickly so that the big bucks can be made earlier.

Farm raised fish have no taste. Try farm raised catfish and then a river caught catfish, the taste is in the river caught fish.

Anything raised naturally is going to taste better than stuff they inject with hormones or steroids.

Gonna be a rough day. Those white clouds look like boobs sticking out over a corset.............not really the style of lingerie I was thinking, but my brain is malfunctioning at the moment. What I was thinking of is like that, but with less constriction and has push up type bra in it. I give up......I know what I'm thinking.

Don't get me started. I am romantic, but there are days when I don't need romance to get me going.

If you flip that heart upside down, you will notice it looks like the backside of a hot woman bent over while on her knees, when viewed from above and behind(not a position I am unfamiliar with, we can call it something like rover or spot), with sides leading toward a point where they meet at the lower back. This is not by chance. The heart shape is romantic for a reason, and it is directly connected to anatomy. No, that's not romantic, but then, I'm not in a romantic mood.

I'm in the chase her around the place mood and then, if she lets me catch her, tear her clothes off and take her like the dirty bitch she is, mood. Grrrr....

So sorry. I am doing my best to deal with it.
