poster { yiostheoy } whatever that's supposed to mean, is
a coward.Refuses to reply to my posts.Talk about the definition of
a " weenie ". Plus I've known and posted with Miss Smarty for
around 20 years.I've seen a lot of posters who like Miss Smarty
and a few { not many who don't }. And even some that feel it imperative
to side with her for no better reason than to keep the peace.
All well and good.But this near infatuation with ingratiating oneself at
her doorstep like Little Jackie Cooper did whenever around Miss Crabtree
is just too mush.

Adding workers takes a long time.

You only have 2 choices --

1 - training high school and college grads fresh out of school or

2 - more H1B visa's.

As I said, you yourself only applied a short term solution to a long term problem. And that only triggers inflation. It accomplishes nothing else.

 

Population growth is the longest term issue of all.

In the USA the birth rates are lower and the crime and accident rates are higher.

We are losing this battle.

Only the Arab speaking world is winning the birth rate game, because they keep their people in relative ignorance and they don't practice birth control.

What if employers didn't replace their current workforce with H1B visa people?

I got called-in to work again on my 2nd day off by the office.

This happens every week.

As I said, we don't have enough employees to give them/us more than 1 day off per week.

Stealing other companies' employers is not going to solve anything.

Well in college they expand your mind in economics by teaching micro- and macro-economics.

All business majors are required to take 1 to 3 classes in this.

I took 3.

Helps you to understand national economic issues.

 

Yeah, well I'll go back and 'should have' do things differently.

Why demand that there are only two options, when I had already provided a third? Why discount the possibility even more options? Did your fancy college education consist of memorizing laws which must be obeyed?

Just what is wrong with training Americans for jobs in America? Why do we incentivize employers to bring in foreign workers, and thus, disadvantage our own people? We've had 50 years of the ghettoization of our cities. It's time to do things differently.
