It's hard to take a cellphone picture of a moving object through the eyepiece of a spotting scope.

Anyway, cute boat out on Findley Lake.

Of all the bitching I have done about women guarding the TV and Sofa all day watching some home shopping network, I find myself a sober apartment dweller with not a damn thing better to do after work that shop online. Not exactly sure why I bought a metal lathe and all of the tooling, but should the need arise, I now have one.
They have a mill that looks pretty cool too dammit.

Like a refrigerator cozie, except for oven handle. (Keep fingerprints off stainless steel)

    Ah ha!
Drives my wife up the wall. Between the grandkids and their booger hooks and the dogs noses, stainless appliances are a real joy.

Here's a reminder of the work area:

    20190904_082422.jpg

I'm thinking of a three-foot lavandar on the right; about where that rock is. It would spill over into the rhododendron area. Just left of the fencepost would be a lilac. It would be about 7ft. high and 10ft. wide. In the far left, plus maybe in the middle, would be a clump of the Tuscan Sun, yellow daisies. Lastly, I would put in the "Emerald Carpet" Rubus Pentalobus ground cover plant.

    Very cool!

I have been checking out wooden boat models for a while now. I always wanted to build one and will someday. I want to build a wooden model of the HMS Bounty.

We stopped to see the Bounty that was docked close to a place were were visiting at the time. A short time after that, the Bounty sank off the coast of North Caroline during hurricane Sandy.

Maybe we could pool our money, get a full size bounty and sail it to that island that has all those half naked native women.

You lost me with the half naked women part.
If I wanted to see a half naked woman, I could do that anytime in front of a mirror. Ahahaha

What a great day so far. Its beautiful out. Cool enough to wear my "Maybe Next Year" old cut off Jets hoodie and I ate 2 chicken wings left over from last night for breakfast.
Aside from having to clean the house, Id say Im on a winning streak so far. lol

I have grown to totally discount BBQ sauce. There are just too many
and it's no longer possible to buy one that's just plain good.
Nowadays they gotta be The Hottest or the most snappy.
    Or a this or a that.It's merely a gimmick.In fact,one can probably
whip up their own homemade BBQ that's even better.Using the freshest
of ingredients and the proper amount.Like a Salsa dip.
My Mom made Potato Chip dip using the standard packet
of Lipton's French Onion dip. That was before they added all those
powdered ingredients. The key Ingredient being Sour Cream.
Which is Low in calories and low in sodium.Tasted plenty good.
