    looking at the 10 day forecast.. while it has been over 100 degrees for the last week and a half.. I do see we will have 4 days were it is merely 99 degrees out.. this is, however, typical weather here for this time of year.. I love it!
    Oh! I just looked.. it been over 100 degrees most everyday since June 3rd! maybe longer.. why look that far bakc?

    We are right now in the Dog Days.Pretty standard for mid July.
    It is smack dab in the middle of the Country.With weather this hot
    it means storms.You must be near Arizona.Phoenix usually runs the
    hottest temps.

    If anyone had a handle on this we would not be having all the controversy over counts, masks, and to isolate or not. One thing is sure and certain Americans are tough.

    What do Texans have against New Mexico's casinos?

    I planted a weigela (It bugs me that everyone here calls it why-gee-lee-uh.) today. It's a big plant and was a lot of work. I had to have a two hour nap; after that.

    To get to NM you have cross that vast, mostly empty area called West Texas... to get that vast, mostly empty NM. Can be beautiful. Though. ;)

    Of course they're Texans. The population is just larger in Central Texas. Which is closer to OK or LA than NM.

    Oh Todd! I’m the opposite, I hate this weather. We’ve had the same here in Maryland for the past 2 weeks and our 10 day outlook is depressing. Continuing with 95+ and oppressive humidity at 70%. Heat index upward of 101. Give me 75 days and 55 nights. Heaven!

    I disagree.I do not like being rude to someone I think is a good person.
    Like yerself.But this country is Virtuallly/Literally in a fight for it's
    survival.Our public school system is making great strides in converting
    our youth into little Monsters.Not merely Trendies as a few years ago.
    Now the Adults are backed into a corner.
    Like The Okinawa war hero who died with his family at his side
    recently.When asked if he next place he goes to is not up to his
    Likin' ... he said ... " I'll Fight my way Out ".
