When buying aquarium plants, all that you're buying are the roots. It's almost guaranteed that the leaves will die off, because everyone's water is different. The new leaves, miraculously, grow in adapted to the changed conditions.

Gee I dunno bout dat.I remember being told that when my mommy
broke her pregnancy water,me uncle was close-by enough to collect some
    and deposit in one them little airline liquor bottles { 50 ml. Gin }
for posterity. It has turned different shades of watery purple
over the years.More the color of formaldehyde than Embalming fluid.
Good thingy I don't touch Gin.Can't stand the stuff.

A purple genie should always be left in the bottle.

It doesn't matter that they gave us an extra month to file our tax returns. I still waited until the end of the allotted time to work mine out.

I had a real good buddy who was an art major.Got his Masters in art
at U of C.Had an Art Exibition as required for Getting his Masters degree.
I bought his number one piece. This was about 25 years ago.I paid what
he was asking { $ 600 } but I forced him to sign it.For some strange reason he
had a policy to Not Sign any of his pieces.I never understood.
It's a charcoal drawing with a black race theme. He was technically
a black but had one white and one black parent. He was picked on
as a youngster for being different. That influenced him greatly.
I taught him how to drink and about Movies. He really dug pot.
So did I.But that was then.I gave it up when my Father was dying.
I even gave up missing pot. That's the hardest part.

It might help if you don't wear those Old Fashioned button-down
skivvies { underwear } like those used during the Klondike Gold rush
    in Alaska.

I'm a big fan of Watercolors.A family friend of the Family dating back to my
years growing up in Cleveland was an Artist by the name of Flo Lawton.
Our Family purchased a number of his large pieces.I have one of an Amish
carriage in Amish country.I just looked up the date it was made.
Can't find a date but it was part of a private collection my Grandmother
    had numbered # 35.It was titled ... " All by Itself "
Nice mating.I have two watercolor prints I purchased when I visited
the workshop of Claude Monet back in mid 1980's
He had very brightly painted rooms { like the kitchen } that were
small and very yellow. There was a a large like barn used for showcasing his
    work and selling stuff.

You may have read too much Kafka. ;-)

    'MY DESTINATION
I gave orders for my horse to be brought round from the stables.
The servant did not understand me.
I myself went to the stable, saddled my horse and mounted.
In the distance I heard a bugle call, I asked him what this meant.
He knew nothing and had heard nothing.
At the gate he stopped me, asking: "Where are you riding to, master?"
"I don't know," I said, "only away from here, away from here.
Always away from here, only by doing so can I reach my destination."
"And so you know your destination?" he asked.
"Yes," I answered, "didn't I say so? Away-From-Here, that is my destination."
"You have no provisions with you," he said.
"I need none," I said, "the journey is so long that I must die of hunger if I don't get anything on the way.
No provisions can save me. For it is, fortunately, a truly immense journey."

When I was released from jury duty, last week, they told us to call in on Friday. I called Friday, and the recorded message said to call in Tuesday. I called yesterday and this morning. The recording says to call in Tuesday...

Now you are just asking for it. ;-)
