It's a poor excuse and there is not that much 'desperation'. They need to repair the situation at home. If they were to adopt the US Constitution and Bill of Rights they might do a lot better.

 

Do you really believe that everyone trying to cross our border is a smuggler? Even these ones we ith power tools? What makes you believe these aren't coming from the thousands being turned away from our border stations?
