    1) Yes IDF kills alot of children - in some cases by dropping bombs on them while walking home from school
    2) Are you suggesting we give Ninja bombs to Hamas ?

Ninja bombs won't work with Hamas: they are designed to only kill one or two people.
Hamas likes to kill as many Jews (and Fatah) as possible.
It's sad. Hamas was offered the deal of a lifetime with a package that included a Gaza
to Galilee rail line, an airport, seaport, industrial parks and open borders. They rejected
that deal on the basis they were trading away what they saw as their land in Israel. So
fair enough - now they have nothing.

If Hamas likes to kill as many Jews as possible - and Ninja bombs only kill a few - then Iran should give them bigger bombs should they not ?

Hezbollah does not have missiles - you are confusing rockets with missiles I think

Technically a thrown rock becomes a missile. Not sure if there is a technical difference.
But 150,000 is a lot of rockets.

Sure, Iran would LOVE to give armaments to Hamas. But it has to run the gauntlet
of Israel and Egypt - both of whom hate Hamas.

Would have been better had Hamas accepted the peace deal and sought to white
ant Israel from the inside out with Muslim demographics.

Not sure of the technical difference .. between a home made rocket - and a cruse missile ? This is the pillar you wish to stand on - as in "maybe there isn't" ?

do 150,000 bottle rockets a threat to a nation make ? - because that is pretty much the difference between a cruise missile and a home made rocket. a bottle rocket in by comparison to the Hamas rockets. is the hamas rocket in comparison to a cruise missile.

The Iron dome is claimed to be about 85% effective against the suped up bottle rockets sent by the Palestinian freedom fighters.

Not bad -- but these are slow moving projectiles with a predictable trajectory. - small payload

Missiles of any kind are a whole different world of hurt - moving much faster and carrying a bigger payload - but still a predictable trajectory.
If the dome is only 85% effective against rockets .. Most of the missiles are getting through.

Cruise missiles - forget it .. this is a different world completely - you don't know they are coming being the first problem. There is no defense -
And let us not forget the newest contestant - of which Iran is particularly adept. - drones .. and these come in all kinds of varieties .. drone fusion missile technology such as that used against Saudi Arabia .. in combination with cruise missiles - against which the Patriot system was completely worthless.

Iran has not given Hezbollah sophisticated military equipment - least none that has been used.

Israel on the other hand - not only uses sophisticated technology against civilians in the occupied Territories - (never mind Lebanon) - it has It has used this technology against Iran and the Syria.

You did not like the Ninja bombs -as they would not kill so many - perhaps these nations that Israel is attacking - with sophisticated technology .. should supply the Palestinian freedom fighters sophisticated technology.

    Wouldn't that be a hoot !?

Doesn't have to run any gauntlet .. Give weapons to Hezbollah/Hamas - and that is that - but, Iran hasn't been doing this. It is Israel who is the aggressor .. using high tech weapons on civilians and elsewhere - a nation out of control - that needs to be reigned in.

Was a massive mistake to give Israel nuclear weapons .. Dumbest thing in the last 100 years.

And who 'gave' Pakistan nuclear weapons?
Look this up - the time America sent their 'black bird' over Israel's nuclear reactor
to see what they were doing - and the Israelis wanted to shoot it down.
Iran can't give Hamas much in the way of weapons because Gaza is closed to
unsupervised goods. Some have tried to get through via the sea, and Israel
monitors this, too. A bit gets through Egyptian tunnels.

Pakistan was not given nukes directly as was Israel - that said - the folks who gave Pakistan Nukes are the same who gave Israel Nukes .. French/USA - French more culpable in the case of Pakistan.

And please .. spare me your silliness about Iran not being able to get cruise missiles to the Palestinian freedom fighters - abject nonsense on steroids - and again you talking about that which you do not know - as if you do - making up stories you think sounds good - to prop up your Israel on a Pedestal of Virtue Narrative.

Eric Haney in Inside Delta Force tells a great story of Hamas gunmen using kids as cover to attack the US Marines in Lebanon so he and another sniper are brought in to take them out without harming the kids, your pic reminds me of that,

Israel is a free and democratic society, why would it want conflict? What terror is Israel responsible for? Targeting the terrorists who are attacking them?

I'm identifying with the strengths of the good guys, the Israelis, you identify with the terrorists.

Nonsense, what on earth are you talking about? What terrorism did the US ever sponsor? Counter insurgency against communist rebels whose propaganda you've swallowed wholesale. Do you think Latin American dictatorships needed any lessons in brutality? We allied with Saddam but no one supplied him WMDs, he made his own. Suharto also battled communists and the West supported him, we had no illusions about such people but as always preferable to the alternative.

Obama sponsored AQ? Really? After killing their leader? The ICC always investigate everyone, that's what they're there for, Obama and Trump were right to back the anti-Houthi/Iranian forces just as RR was right to back the various anti-commie forces.

Hope this stops you expressing nonsensical hypocrisy where the US are always the bad guys?

The only way Iran can give a cruise missile to Hamas in Gaza itself would be to fly it there.
And then there's this little problem of it blowing up.

Sure, you are now in Lebanon with a cruise missile, having avoided UN inspections
    - now to get it Gaza, past Israeli inspections. Good luck.

OK - Just Stop - These are "Cruise Missiles" - The attack that hit the refinery came from hundreds of miles away .. Jerusalem is 100 km from the Lebanese border - Syria roughly the same.

You are so far out in left field - it is not even funny .. LOOK - if Iran wants to get sophisticated weapons to Palestinian Freedom Fighters - in range of Israel - it is simple Simon met a Pie Mon !!

So Iran can easily give sophisticated weapons to the Palestinian freedom fighters .. The drones suspected have been used against El Saud - had an estimated range of something like 900 miles.

Which brings us to an interesting central point - that relates to far more than Israel - so breath a sigh of relief - as this will not be specifically related to either/only to the Israeli/Pal Blood feud - or the Syrian disaster.

I study cycles in History - particular in relation to rise of fall of Empires. One of the rules is that as technology spreads - the cost of projecting power increases .. to the point of bankrupting the Empire trying to maintain hegemony.

When the wall fell - Russia was broke - knew it could not match the US .. plane for plane - ship for ship. What it did then - was focus on niche technologies. One of these was cruise missiles. You can build a whole lot of cruise missiles at 1 million a pop for the price of a 15 Billion dollar Aircraft carrier - never mind op costs and battle group vessels.

Russia released the "Sunburn" Anti Ship Cruise missile in the mid 90's - a supersonic sea skimming cruise missile. A ship has roughly 50 seconds from the time the missile breaks the horizon ... to impact. Later versions were faster - reaction time to below 30 seconds - not that we had much to defend with in any case.

At the time - we had no defense - no ability to reliably take out one of these things - and no ability to defend against multiple sorte's of these things .. Saturation is easily achieved - we run out of ammo.

At the time Russia was at least a decade ahead of anything we had - and continue to be leaders in missile technology - we decided we were not interested in Rockets over the most of the last decade..

India joined in the party in the late 90's a joint Russian-India venture - their version is the Brahmos - and they tested a "Hypersonic" version 2 years ago -

China joined the party later on - so you had 3 major players working on this technology.

Now we add the drone factor - The missiles this consortia are putting out can think .. they are smart - stealthy - and able to maneuver - take evasive maneuvers - and this is before the latest Drone Technology gets added .. creating these fusion/ missile drones.. and then there are the other drones - which are perhaps even more dangerous than the cruise missiles.

All the while - we are still trying to figure out how to stop the Sunburn - not for lack of trying or lack of ability - but because it is just really difficult to hit a bullet with a bullet - and near impossible to hit a bullet that does not have a predictable trajectory - and that you don't know is coming. Even with Lasers this is a very difficult thing to do - and we are nowhere near having that Laser technology powerful enough.

Iran does not have the stuff that the Russia/China/India consortia has - but, they have proven that what they do have .. works just fine and they have been at it a long time - It is not like the world did not notice when Russia made our Carrier's obsolete - back in the mid 90's

The problem is that this technology has advanced at a rate far faster than the ability to defend - the other problem is the natural tendency of technology to spread.

The Brit's had the gatling gun - with one gunship - they could take out an entire African Nation - fighting back with sticks and stones.
Over time - that African Nation gets the gun ... One ship will no longer do .. you have to send an entire Armada - and you will take heavy casualties .. and this is expensive - The cost of Projecting Power has increased.

We are at a similar point along the curve - similar point in the cycle - unfortunately. Trying to Police the World is bankrupting this nation - and we are making serious blunders on the geopolitical chessboard on this basis.

Much better would be to put these resources into the Economic War that is going on .. as Economic - is now the strongest piece on the Chessboard .. and every other significant nation but "US" seems to realize it.

Last I calculated we were over 1.2 Trillion per year - but that was years ago .. I am sure we are well over that figure today. "Total Military Spending" Vets, Intelligence .. the whole thing.

In 2000 - The total spend was 300 Billion - After 8 Bush years it was a whopping 900 Billion - and topped 1 Trillion under Obama.

Had we maintained 2000 spend levels ( at that time being perfectly capable of defending the homeland) increasing with inflation - we could have diverted 500 billion/year x 16 years = 8 Trillion dollars .. to things like infrastructure, technology, ramping up our economy to compete in the 3rd millennium - like other nations were doing.

Instead we threw this money down the toilet - fighting pointless wars - conducted on the basis of false narrative and lies - to pad the pockets of the Military Industrial Complex .... so OK .. not "Pointless" but- that was the point .. to spend money "To give Money to Lockheed Martin" .. quote from Pierre Sprey - was one of the advisors on the F-16 program - commenting on the purpose of the F-35.

What terrorism did the US sponsor? Most recently it sponsored the terrorism of Operation Covid.

For the last 20 years it has sponsored the terrorism of its Global War Of Terror, delivered by Congress abdicating its responsibilities by way of the AUMF, a pure legal sophistry.

While you were sleeping, our Peace Candidate Obama with his sidekick John Brennan, held weekly meetings to decide just which innocent persons in the mideast would be summarily executed by US drone.

You were snoozing, even as many of us were paying attention.

So Iran is going to FLY A CRUISE MISSILE TO GAZA OR THE WEST BANK?
This is what they would have to do -
1 - attach wheels or skids to said missile
    2 - remove the explosives
3 - reprogram missile for soft land instead of strike

    and at the Palestinian end
    1 - collect said missile
    2 - remove landing equipment
    3 - refuel
    4 - rearm
5 - restore original strike flight profile
6 - target missile for any major Israeli city, school, plaza etc..

I think the next great war will be a missile, cyber, submarine and satellite affair.
Even at Pearl Harbor 1941 few realized how important the aircraft carrier would
be - that's why Japan attacked even knowing the carriers were out to sea.
But America does have a few tricks up its sleeves - it recognizes the danger to
its military assets. In the Pacific it is starting to spread these out more to avoid
Chinese attacks. And smaller, smarter and cheaper ships. And smaller, faster
mini-missiles. And a new Space Force.
Best of all - America has allies that China and Russia would envy - most of SE
Asia is afraid of China, and the same for Europe with Russia. So China could
have a military force twice that of USA but not have India, Vietnam, Japan,
Phillipines, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan on their side.

I don't know that there will be a next "Great War" - anytime soon.. This was the overall point of my last post.

We have gotten too good at killing each other. We can not have a direct war with a nuclear superpower such as Russia or China ... and soon add a whole bunch more nations to that list due to this friggen missile technology.

Sure we can make war against non nuclear nations .. and perhaps fight Russia or China by proxy in that location .. but never will they attack each other's homeland directly ..

Because of this - the geopolitical chessboard has changed - Economic being #1 -

The other factor is the increase in the ability of these non nuke nations to do big damage with conventional weapons - and the spread of this technology in general - to anyone who has the cash...

We have always had the ability to wipe out any other nation .. so this is not relevant .. "New Tricks" in the big picture - other than to increase arms sale revenue.

You are not having proper perspective of board Padawon .. your valuation of the pieces is wrong - based on a past that used to exist.

The difference today is that these other nations now have the ability to do serious damage - as such - the cost of projecting power has increased.

You are fed large amount of propaganda to keep you thinking there is some big enemy out there ... it doesn't exist - and all these nations know it .. which is why they are redirecting money away from military towards "Economy - Technology" - this is the game now my friend .. all those fancy toys that float .. not good for much .. cause we have not got an enemy big enough to warrant 1/10th of our force.. We need a lean mean fighting machine .. not this gargantuan bohemouth which has no real purpose.

What threat is any one of our mini carriers not able to handle ? on general Patrol .. ? If the big ones need to leave port ..we will send .. because if someone has taken out the smaller one ... hell is about to happen...

Problem - is that this technology is becoming more and more generally available ... anyone can own a drone - make their own .. the parts and technology are readily available .. have you never watched battle bots :) :) never mind what nations states are doing.

Checkmate - Russia has come out smelling like a Rose - as has China - in the ME - They will be rebuilding Syria, Iran, Iraq - Europe (EU) will get some peanuts as well...

What else have we in the ME - Turkey ? .. don't think so - plays both sides of the fence - bought the S-400 System - against wild US protest threats sanctions and so on... Qatar and Oman are both on good terms with Iran - playing both sides of fence.

We still have El Saud - but - China is now their number one Customer.

Pretty grim - given the 10 Trillion we have plowed into the ME since 911 .. rather shoddy return on investment I would say -

The cost of projecting power has gone through the roof Mate .. its a loser's game .. not playing with a proper understanding of the board.. at least not on this level .. that being .. what is good for the US Citizens.

On a different level - what is best for the international financiers that own the Military Industrial Complex - the Media - The Banks - Energy - and our pay to play political system - that is a different question...

The Left has this cynical message - the enemy is your own nation: your security, your banks,
your Capitalism, your churches, your industries, your police departments etc..
And your friends are Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea and Iran.
And yet, these cynics rarely want to go live in these dictatorships.

US has been carrying out terrorism for decades. Some people think that terrorism only refers to when people are actually attacked. That is not how terrorism is carried out. Take your standard Afghan village. A US drone comes over and bombs a house killing all the inhabitants and those close by. The next day another drone is seen coming over. The village people don't know if they are going to be bombed and cower in fear. This time the drone just flies by. This is repeated daily until the next time one actually does bomb another house. Rinse and repeat. That is terrorism which has been carried out for decades over all the Middle East and Far East by the US

What? The US sponsors covid? What are you talking about? Yes, it has sponsored the War on Terror, against terrorists, Obama killing AQ/ISIS and all the other terrorists, he did the right thing and saved many innocent lives. You must have been in a coma not to appreciate that?
