I love when y’all get caught. If it’s on the federal level that makes republicans look bad you move it to the states. If it’s on a state level you say it’s the city and if it’s on a city level you want to push it out to the county.

    So laughably predictable

I can admit the Democratic Party has some major issues but y’all seem unable to ever acknowledge your party was not sent by god and all that stands in your way of paradise is if democrats would just get out of your way.

    It’s pathetic at this point.

I do not advocate “dem control”. I said “move the state purple” for a reason.

I think that our states and federal government function best when Democrats control the executive (or governorship) while the congress (or general assembly) is split.

There are exceptions for this but that has generally seen the largest periods of growth, fiscal restraint and overall best representation of the people.

I don’t worship the Democratic Party. You should try it and I definitely wouldn’t be calling others devout partisans looking at your own views.

The funny part is, blue states with huge population (and therefore tax revenue) losses don't seem to have a clue as to why it's happening and don't seem to even care. In fact, often their response is, "good riddance" or "don't let the door hit you on the way out". In order to fight the problem, California is trying to hit those leaving with an exit tax.

Yes states are not homogenous. Why do you we have such low educational attainment and some of those health concerns? Which group in this country has the lowest achievement nationwide? Which group has the worst health outcomes nationwide? The same group which is disproportionately represented in the Black Belt which runs through those red states. And they vote in Democrat local government which is in charge of that educational and health care and economic development. Just like black urban inner cities.

Living here I can relate to what you are saying. I live in a red city and county in California that’s surrounded by lighter populated counties even more conservative. We and the state government clash over almost everything. We don’t have to flee though because our cost of living is so much less than the coastal parts. Our incomes don’t trigger the highest rates. Our housing doesn’t trigger the cap on mortgage interest deduction and our combined property taxes and state sales/income tax don’t trigger SALT limits on federal tax deductions. Our food and gas and housing costs are less than elsewhere as is our income level. Adjusted for cost of living our economy and poverty rates are better than on the coast. And since while we pay lawful taxes on our lower income and property value, and the state infrastructure, medical, education, and other services the state does cost it the same or more here due to small spread out population, the state will always spend more on us here than we lawfully pay in. We have offered to let us leave as Jefferson or become part of Idaho along with the bordering Oregon counties to save them the money. There are red areas of Ca.

    Neither does this:

"People are leaving like crazy from the northeast going down to Florida. They're just tired of the crime, the taxes," Dupont said. "Residential and commercial, and they just want to be free down in Florida."

And while David’s gallery never fell personally victim to crime or theft, the business owner acknowledged the city’s epidemic.

"We were well-armed, well-insured, and feeling fine," he said. "I know that there's crime everywhere, and it just depends on how well a municipality is managed and what they do with that crime."

Maybe he realizes that in Miami which has already seen a substantial decrease in crime since its Republican Mayor took office something is being done about it. Also there’s the economic advantages along with more personal freedom in Miami compared to Filthydelphia…

Texas lead the nation in new jobs again this month. New York, on the other hand, hasn't seen its unemployment below the national average in the past thirty years.

We're also not letting transplants from blue states vote unless they can prove they're employed. It's the smart thing to do if you want to continue being the best run state in the country.

Red states have pockets of blue and blue states have pockets of red. Memphis and, more surprisingly, Nashville are very blue cities in TN for instance.

It won’t bring much because blue voters in Florida and Texas have begun moving to blue cities in blue states like Denver, Portland, and Seattle as Florida and Texas moved more red at the state level.

That’s always been true about pockets of one in a state controlled by the other. I live in a very red pocket Redding/Shasta County in a very blue state California.

    You sure about that...?

“Crime Index - Florida, USA has crime index above the national average and New York, USA has crime index below the national average.”

The very best places to live in Wisconsin are all Republican and it is not even close. Looking at the violent crime map of Wisconsin on top of voting preferences, it is a one to one match. Every single place that has Democrats in charge has high rates of violent crime. It is not that the Republican Party is good, it is that the people who vote for the Republican Party are law abiding middle and working class people who value safe neighborhoods. The people who vote for the Democrat Party are people who have empathy for criminal/misfits and dislike normal people, and thus vote to empower predators and persecute law abiding citizens. Locking up violent felons is not a rocket science but the Democrats refuse to do it. Instead they let them out and use their crimes to justify coming after the gun rights of law abiding citizens.

While I agree with this, I think the majority are right leaning individuals fleeing blue zones. At least from here in Florida, I have yet to meet a single left sided individual who has moved to Florida. But, I do know of a few liberals who have moved from Florida to California. Seems both sides are fortifying their strongholds. Hard to say for sure as we do not have valid statistics on the matter. Just from what I have seen.

As a Floridian I’m Seeing more license plates from CA. We have plenty of snowbirds from the NE so hard to see a shift there. However, on apps such as Nextdoor and FB, I’m seeing LOADS of posts from people saying they are moving or just moved from NE states and CA asking about schools, housing market and other standard questions about the area. Restaurants, entertainment, etc. Massive uptick since 2020.

That applies to you too. Your outrage is only ever in one direction. You dont have to say it directly, it’s clear Dems are a godsend in yours eyes. Atleast republicans can acknowledge its faults.

Im sure this went over your head.

As an American , I am so happy that economy is growing in some rural American counties where millions of Americans once lived in poverty for generation. Does it really matter they vote blue or red? Not really, as long as Americans improve their lives, create more opportunity for others, America wins.

It’s time that those elite, liberal, rich people’s ingenuity and entrepreneurship move to rural America. Why should only rich , liberal enjoy the test of success in Silicon Valley or NYC? I am glad to see people who became successful in these liberals cities, they are taking their experience to rural America and opening business and became successful again. They have educated themselves the “art of trade” in these blue cities and then taking them to Red state. What not to like. As a liberal , I am very , very happy. God Bless America.

Astounding amounts of delusion to believe it’s liberals whom are creators lol. The red working class is what keeps the nation’s infrastructure from falling apart.

But hey, I agree with the sentiment that I’m glad these hard working conservatives keep everything going, including on very liberal areas. Why should red areas be the only places with functioning infrastructure.
