You seem to appear to not be aware that there is a constitutional separation of powers issue here. Pelosi can change the rules of the house and change impeachment rules (which she did), and committee rules (which she did), so she can remove Republicans from the entire process (which they did), but what she can't change is the Constitution. The democrats rule changes cannot supersede Constitutional separation of powers.

To bridge the separation of powers Congress needs Judicial Authority. Judicial Authority is the House saying they have a LEGAL basis for such a demand. By having a full chamber vote gives the Executive branch access to appeal any legislative demand via the Judicial Branch. Absent the Judicial Authority the House has not created a penalty for non-compliance. Absent a penalty the Executive Branch has no process for review by the Court. The reason the democrats are playing this game is because they are afraid of losing in Court. They could be blocked by the Court. The democrats game is to subvert Judicial Authority. What the democrats are doing is creating a Constitutional Crisis and probably why they started attacking the Supreme Court a few months ago. It's a game that the average Joe has no clue about because they know so little about Constitutional authority and separation of powers.

    Lol

Quoting a guy who’s reliving the only noteworthy part of his life and wants you to buy into it is not a current event. Just some friendly advice, you might want to post this in another section or maybe Facebook.

Weren’t you the guy who lambasted a member for mentioning something Clinton did as OLD NEWS?

The only thing the LW gutter dwellers want is for everyone else to be as unhappy, miserable and hateful as they are. But it’s not working. Go Trump!

So you’re going to need more low IQ sheep to follow you into the town you want to burn down because you might not be able to burn it down on your own due to fragile feelings being hurt. But that’s why you recruit people who wear masks and crack skulls with bike locks.

Oh, and burning down neighborhoods contributes to global warming. For shame.

    Carry on.:salute:

Anyone appearing before the Commitee are subjected to questions by members of both parties. Why are you suggesting that only one party will be asking questions? That is very dishonest.

Some don't understand the difference between an impeachment inquiry (trying to determine if grounds exist) and an impeachment (formal charges) and honestly think none of this is legal without a impeachment vote. Others know full well but are playing dumb to muddy the waters.

Because republicans want to play defense lawyer for the president and this is essentially a grand jury. The defense comes in the senate.

Members of both parties will be able to question any witnesses called before the Commitee. The article you read was BS.

The "Let's Make Obstruction Stronger" plan is really short sighted given that they have already released so much damaging information already. Hell, you are just shooting yourself in the foot by preventing sympathetic witnesses from defending themselves.

That’s exactly what it is, the actual trial is in the senate. Impeachment is basically an indictment

Nobody from the WH is obstructing anything....they have fully cooperated with the numerous investigations up until this point. You all jsut can't accept the results....if you think you can impeach, take the vote...open the inquiry. Until then....move along

He hasn't obstructed anything...there is no impeachment inquiry. I certainly will support him, or anyone for that matter exercising their Constitutional rights....and if need be taking that to a Court for resolution.

Why are you and the Dems opposed to that? What are you all hiding? Why not be transparent? Why not allow the process to unfold? Why the stonewalling?

Yes...he has repeatedly asked them to conduct the proper inquiry...since they refuse....he has no reason to cooperate in the secret proceedings.

Why does Shifty and Nancy refuse to open an actual impeachment inquiry?
