Then nothing more actually needs to be said on the matter, as the supposed problem will continue to remain.

Anything else that may be added to the discussion is just nonsense in an attempt to cloud the issue.

The technology in question is flawed and unreliable even under the best of circumstances. The components cannot stand up to the same hard use as the firearm itself.

Beyond that, the existing technology cannot be integrated into existing firearms already on the market, as every last square centimeter of available space is already being utilized by the existing components.

Then let us do this. Make a list of every mass shooting in the twenty first century, and demonstrate how many of them would have been prevented by the implementation of this so-called "smart firearm" technology, and how such would have been done.

Did the NRA order law enforcement to not arrest Nikolas Cruz when he was committing domestic violence and cruelty to animals?

It is well understood that there is a difficulty on the part of yourself actually following instructions. Therefore one more chance will be provided to actually answer the question as it was presented to yourself. If such is not done, reports for violation of forum guidelines will be filed against yourself.

One last time. Actually cite where, on their own website, the NRA have stated such to be the case. The claim was made by yourself, therefore the requirement of proof is also upon yourself.

Those reports always pick the least lethal means to compare to gun suicide. Here's what Harvard had to say:

Suffocation/hanging is 61% successful, accounts for almost 12,000 deaths each year and those means are available in nearly every room of a house or apartment. It's also the fastest growing method - since 1999 CDC reports that the hanging/suffocation rate has grown 88%. It's in triple digit growth rates for women, especially teens.

Then what is ultimately being stated by yourself, is that a person actually makes the conscious decision to be mentally ill? Mental health is a conscious choice, rather than something that is beyond the control of the affected individual? They can literally choose to be sane or crazy, just as one can choose to either remain sober or engage in intoxication?

As has been explained numerous times, the Militia Act did nothing to authorize the registration of either firearms, or those that owned them. This is nothing more than nonsense being presented by yourself.

Really. Jumping is by far the most effective means of suicide. If you're so worried about suicide you might as well be consistent.

... never mind the fact back in 1792, firearms did not have serial numbers, making registration impossible.

Vapid strawman duly noted and ignored.

If you believe that Chris Cox, the executive director of the NRA-ILA does not speak for the NRA then feel free to take whatever action you want.

Before and around 1873, the beginning of modern firearms, if you wanted a firearm, you only needed money, if you wanted to sell or repair firearms, sell ammo, bullets, cartridges, you only money, there were no Government Regulations on firearms businesses.....

No background checks, no questions asked, you could order guns by mail, travel the World with Guns, go to London and get a custom set of Shotguns made to order and take them home with you boarding a ship to America.

Yet some Dodgy birds here insist falsely of Gun control and Gun Registration and referring falsely to the Militia Act which never had anything to do with Regular Citizens.

    Wrong!

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Militia_Acts_of_1792

Regular citizens who were "free able-bodied white male citizen" between the ages of 18 and 45 into a local militia company. (This was later expanded to all males, regardless of race, between the ages of 18 and 54 in 1862.)

    .
Nothing to do with firearms or registration of firearms or purchases of firearms thereof.

And the word Bird, as long as I do not directly call anyone here a Bird as an insult, is not a rules violation, in England they would say, your an odd Duck or Bird etc..... and it was not intended as an insult.
    Like the greeting hello Ducky.....

The Militia Acts compiled registries of every gun owner in the Militia and their firearms and sent them to the President on an annual basis.

    Not true
There was no firearms registry as there was no serial number requirement on firearms until 1968 or so.

Serial numbers are NOT a requirement for having a registry of owners and firearms.

The Militia Acts worked just fine establishing who had what firearms.

Nope, there was no such thing then, stop making up vinculation quackery about the Militia Act.

There were no Government regulations on firearms ownership then.
With the exception of Unconstitutional Dodge City style prohibitions by local Marshals and Sheriff's on the carry of firearms in some areas.

Then do not compare mental illness with a person choosing to becoming intoxicated as a result of consuming of alcoholic beverages, as if the two are no different from one another.

No argument has been presented by yourself as to why individuals who are mentally unstable, who are apparently known to be dangerous, should be left in society where they can do the most harm. Explain why such individuals should not be removed from society, and confined to the appropriate facilities for as long as is necessary, when it is actually known that they are confirmed as being dangerous.

It is quite apparent that the article itself was not read by yourself, otherwise it would have never been posted. Instead what was done, was taking one look at the title, and forming a decision based exclusively on what is meant to grab the attention of the reader, but does not give any actual, relevant details.

The article itself specifically states that the "mentally ill" who are being referred to, are social security recipients who need assistance in filling out complicated governmental forms to receive their benefits, who were automatically reclassified as being mentally ill, all without being provided with due process, or being made aware of the fact that they were believed to be mentally ill in the first place.

Automatic reclassification in an after the fact manner violates the united states constitution at all levels.

The refusal on the part of yourself to accept basic facts does not alter the fact that the records being referred to by yourself did not actually exist. There were no lists of firearms, or firearm owners, that existed during the time in question. Registration could not be done as there were no serial numbers.
