The business lost will just go to the mom and pop gun stores across the country and Turners, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Gander Outdoors and Academy Sports and will become super gun stores who will buy in large quantities passing the savings on to their customers.

When someone makes a gun purchase they usually leave with ice chest, lanterns, ammunition, shooting accessories, boots and outdoor clothing, guess who's the real losers are ?

And gun owners and hunters also fish, camp, hike and participate in other outdoors sports, guess who will be getting their business ?

Not Big 5 Sporting Goods, Walmart, L.L. Bean, Dick's Sporting Goods or Fred Meyers.

It looks like we are seeing a sea change going on around the country, with gun sales plummeting and department stores phasing out gun sales. This is GREAT news!

I am telling you. The FL shooting started a strong new movement. These kids are gonna vote out the NRA leg bumpers in a few years....if not sooner!

I am not against selling guns. I am against selling guns to mentally deranged individuals...we need common sense laws to prevent that.

So you don't support bans on firearms or their accessories? Just licensing regs

I've never heard of this store before, but if they don't want to sell it, it's their choice.

I thought the left's argument for reducing deaths is to legalize the method, i.e. drugs. Isn't the left's other argument that enforcement doesn't work because as soon as you shut one dealer down another pops up on a different corner? So why would it be different with guns other than they're being told to obey the latest command from their leaders?

The real question no one asks is why capitalist organizations do this.

All of the nations alpha males already have their guns.

Anti Second Amendment and anti gun legislation doesn't look like its going any where in Congress so no run on the gun stores.

It would be nice to cite the statement by the left you are thinking of.

Libertarians are more likely to make that argument than leftist (whatever that is). And its almost certainly true. As long as drugs (or guns or whatever which is banned) generate the profit they do, people will sell them. Its Eco 101 to cite another board. They do in China where you end up dead if caught.
