Actually, the lame attempt to equivocate legitimate opposition to a selected POTUS who not only sat on his arse during 9-11, he got us into a needless war based upon lies, gave us a total collapse of the financial system, massive deficits from nowhere, etc with blatantly racist opposition to our first black POTUS is absurd. Very, very few people wanted Bush the younger dead nor did these people become power brokers in the party, in fact, they were vilified by the left for doing so. Unfortunately for your argument, there were so few of them it hardly made headlines beyond Pravda/Fox. The tea party was a spontaneous reaction from the white wing of the white party that started even before our first black POTUS was elected by a landslide to fix the gigantic cluster that the real Mericans handed us yet again. Yep, it started with the flag pin, Wright, bowling, arugula, bball, college transcripts, community organizing, bla bla bla. The freak show on the right got really going when he got elected and actually tried to fix things. OMG, the real Muricans had a lily white sissy fit jumping up and down in their Patriotic dresses and wigs waving Gadsen flags, playing Lee Greenwood all day long and eating fried potato chips with a Mountain Dew chaser. The bleating and hollering on the right was not about policy, Obama was doing almost the exact same thing the GOP advised in previous situations. They even refused his naive attempt to reach across the aisle by pulling the football back and saying it was never there in the first place. One day historians are going to write a book about the tea party. It will be called "How did patriotism end up looking like sedition?". The byline will be "when white people lose power and freak out, America 2007 to 2016".

It would have to be the most secretive racist organization ever. So secret that the only way you could tell it was racist is with the help of a silver pony tailed leftist professor who can decode them for you.

Having a differing political point of view can get you called all sorts of things. Regardless of which side you are on.

...you have managed to create yet another post containing no substantiation of the thread topic claim of TP racism whatsoever. Lots of words, all hot air.

When ever you talk to a tea party person, one thing keeps them going, welfare. They cannot stand welfare. Now when you ask them about welfare, they always think of some one who is lazy, shiftless, five kids or on crack. This connection between welfare and race was a key component of the Southern Strategy and Ronnie used it to perfection. We all know about the mythical welfare queen who was black, drove a cadillac and was ripping off all those hard working folks. This stuck with the right wing. Today, they use this to divert the attention from the real welfare which is corporate welfare and welfare in the form of low taxes for the top 1%. Why does the tea party hate welfare? Because it plays into their meme of the lazy negro which has been the meme since slavery ended. This formed the basis for countless Jim Crow laws that demanded black men and women work or go to jail, now.

The other huge issue with them is the deficit. They never seemed to mind it when Saint Ronnie ran it up. They did not support Bush 1 when he raised taxes to pay for the government. Never once said a peep when Bush 2 ran it into the stratosphere. Nope, they only screamed bloodly murder when our first black POTUS had to run a giant deficit or have a complete collapse of the state. That is when they got all worked up about the deficit.

Today the GOP House member submitted their budget. It was a complete con job that stripped aid to SNAP (remember the lazy black woman on food stamps story?), medicaid cuts, medicare cuts and cuts to just about every single thing the federal government does to maintain a safety net. Why do they do this? To balance the budget of course but they really don't care about the budget, it is a sales pitch to cut all the entitlements. What do they call entitlements? SS, Medicare for starters, both of which are earned benefits not entitlements.

They also cannot stand unions, the single largest labor improvement scheme in the history of the world. Why would they hate unions? Because union people are lazy, shiftless good for nothing people, sound familiar? They cut public employees too. Why? Same reason. They want to destroy the Post Office, why? Same reason. They want to enact voter ID? Why? To cage the vote is why.

You asked me why we think the tea party is racist. Besides the blatant racism, there is the policy based racism that just follows these people around everywhere they go. Where is their power? The old South and rural America which are both controlled by whites. Who do they hate? Urban people, liberals, gays, Mexicans, negroes, Arabs, Jews, you name it, they hate them. The tea party is the last gasp of the old order and the sooner they go away the better for all of us.

The Republicans can spit in the faces of the "tea party" and still get damn near all of their votes.

The Tea Party's opinions are completely irrelevant. The leaders of the GOP called you guys knuckleheads and said they would crush you, and that's what happened in the 2014 midterms.

Plus, if a GOP president wins in 2016, you guys will have disappeared, and will be back to just calling yourself standard Republican voters.

Hey, then i would have a lot in common with all of the conservative posters here who average 30 something posts per day, eh?

For such supposedly hard working individuals, right wingers seem to have a hell of a lot of free time to spread propaganda on random internet forums.

I got news for you, white people go to white churches, black people go to black churches. Here is a wonderful example of the racism I say is prevalent amongst the tea party.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdAYYGUP-pA#t=75

Nothing about this man's insane rant is accurate, he is a good ole Southern Boy who thinks our first black POTUS is a communist, born in another country and out to destroy the nation, he wants his country back. We have had just about all we can take from this element, it is time for normal people to tell the tea party to jump in the lake and take their duck calls with them. Obama by nature is not a vindictive or mean person but at some point, he needs to call these types of comments out for what they are: racist mumbo jumbo. Santorum should have insulted this moron to his face but he pandered just like every other ********** out there.

Well, he was raised by communists and I didn't hear anything racial at all so is this another example of the liberal code book where everything can be interpreted as racism by the race obsessed?

If by "most reasonable people" you mean democrat voters who vote for the party that once
supported slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, poll taxes, literacy tests, separate but equal,
segregation in federal government and public facilities, lynchings, cross burnings, church
burnings, the Dred Scott decision, the Plessy vs Ferguson decision, CCR's, black codes,
and opposed desegregation of our schools; the same democrat party of today that is
opposed to school choice and school voucher programs for poor black inner city students
who are being failed by their current schools, encourages black genocide by providing
government funding and abortion clinics in their neighborhoods, support failed welfare
policies which have led to the highest single parent figures ever, and encouraged hostile
policies of racialism, division and mistrust of police which has cost the lives of police and
blacks alike, then I would say no, because those are not reasonable people. Those are the
uninformed people who regularly vote for the racist party - the democrat party.

The Tea Party is multi-racial. For anyone to accuse them of being racist is counter-intuitive.
Why would blacks, Hispanics and Asians be a part of a movement if it was racist? The Tea
Party stands for smaller government, lower taxes, and less spending. The Tea Party is
against massive federal deficits and debt which is intergenerational theft from our children
and grandchildren. There are no policies promoted by the Tea Party that are racist.

I do have a question, do you not understand the difference between the words "to", "too", and "two"?

Again ... for this to be even remotely credible there has to be some, just a little
bit of facts to back up the claim. There is not One Shred of verifiable proof that
the Tea Party is in any way shape or form Racist. In fact, trying to proof that will
only prove the converse.Take the case of Black Conservative Tea Party activist
Kenneth Gladney. In 2009 at a St.Louis Tea Party event he was called racial slurs
and beaten { had to go to Hospital } for handing out - Don't Tread on Me - flags.
The perps were SEIU { Obama's favorite union } members. There is video of the
beating on YouTube as well those wearing SEIU t-shirts.

It's right in one of Obama's books how he was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis.
Davis was an established Commie from Chicago.Like a lot of other Obama

Not at all. Believing in Affirmative Action makes you a factual racist. You can't argue your way out of that belief. You can't excuse your way out of it. You can't justify it by saying, "Look over there...". Belonging to the Tea Party does not make you a racist in ANY sense of the word since the TP does not stand for racist ideals, contrary to whatever spew Liberals want to toss at people. Repeating the same lie over and over again, does NOT make it stick, except for stupid people , yet Liberals rely heavily on that fact, because they know stupid people happily line up when you give them free stuff. Case closed.

Federal Affirmative Action guidelines require private companies under contract with the federal government to establish policies and procedures to effectively prevent employment deteriminations based upon race or gender. They do not favor any race over another race but were designed to reduce the anti-black and anti-women discrimination in employment.

Not discriminating, which is what Affirmative Action guidelines attempt to achieve, does not favor anyone based upon race or gender.

Of course it is commonly understood that social conservatives believe in discrimination based upon race and gender which is why they oppose Affirmative Action.

LOL. You are telling it me, who spend thousands hours with my boss trying to convince government that we provide opportunities for affirmative actions recipients.
Establish policies = hire more affirmative actions people.
No policy = no contract from the government
Yes policy = government forces business to hire more AA recipients.

What a crock. It's about numbers. My former HR manager at Hostess Bands had to deal with EEOC constantly. They wanted to know their 'diversity' status every quarter. Why do you think job apps ask for your ethnicity?
