No they don’t. “Legal Hispanics” want the country to look more Hispanic. They vote for looser immigration standards in most polls.

Here in California where we are overwhelmed with not just only illegal Hispanics but illegal immigrants from all over the world, my experience is that legal Hispanics are the hardest core against illegal immigration. I think the Blue Wave is in for a surprise in California and the Democrats don't see it coming.

Lol, no. California is a lost cause. You’re giving these people far too much credit.

I wouldn't underestimate California because there are more conservatives in California then in several red States combined. If things keep going the way they are the state will split.

Yes lots of conservatives but it’s a minority majority state. That precludes the possibility of a non-Democrat winning.

    You can’t deny reality forever

That is what you are saying. I obviously implied no such thing, and would have said it if I thought it were the case.

The massive influx of urbanites to Texas is probably the single major factor in its progress. Well-educated urban professionals tend to align with Hispanic and Black Americans in their voting preference. Trumpery will trigger an elevated level of female turnout as well. I don't expect a sudden significant rise in voter participation by Hispanic Americans. It'll occur over a decade or two.

Demographic changes over time results in changing political alignments. There is ample historical confirmation of that reality.

I really hope we are seeing the beginning of the end of the race baiting era of politics. I think Americans are becoming bored with the constant racial allegations stories.

If you wish to "replace Americans" I can't help you.

The nation does, however, feature a proud history of people becoming Americans, and I'm privileged to live around its consequences.

Nope. This train is going to what is currently happening in South Africa. You should wake up and help not let that happen.

there were people there that did not want to the Statue taken down but we're not Nazis and those are the people he meant we're good. The collective just tries to twist his words and make it sound like he praised Nazis but that wasn't what happened.

I thought it was very clear at the time and continuing to the present day that he meant to acknowledge the violent nature of ANTIFA. It was the speech he should have given if there wasnt that fatality.

Slavish devotees of Trumpery like to fantasize that the widening diversity of Americans fleeing Trumpery are following the drinking gourd to bondage.

In actuality, they're just assessing the candidates' and political parties' relative merits and deciding accordingly.

In Texas, it may take years to fumigate the bunkers of power, but the People have now got the Alamojo.

Trump had sneered that Cruz "has accomplished absolutely nothing for Texans!"

Watching the endearment-trading "Sniveling Coward" - as "Lying Ted" had called him - drag his flabby arse to Texas to spew his bile at Beto and attempt to save Carnival's carcass is a lovefest with all the romance of furtively rutting behind the backs of trophy wives.

    [IMG][IMG]

"Either Ted Cruz is in trouble or it's a remarkable waste of the president's resources." GOP strategist Rick Tyler, who had worked for Cruz's presidential campaign.

Hey, maybe the Rhinestone Cow Chip can get together with Willie while he's projective vomiting for Carnival!

    [IMG]@realDonaldTrump

Hey Donald this is @WillieNelson Let’s go down to a border detention center together to better understand what’s happening down there?!
    Let’s talk!
    9:12 PM - Jun 18, 2018

Nelson had denounced the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy that has separated thousands of children from parents at the border, The Los Angeles Times reported.

"What's going on at our Southern border is outrageous," Nelson said. "Christians everywhere should be up in arms."

The buzzards are circling over the old buzzards in Texas.

Texas will be great again. The varmints might not be taken down in 2018, but it's just a matter of time, and they know it.

Republicans may well have a big wave coming as well

One of the incentives for Texans to throw the bums out is the bums' desperate efforts to deprive Americans of healthcare coverage.

Already first in the nation in its percentage of uninsureds whose bloated medical costs are routinely dumped on the taxpayer, in a US that, by far, leads the world in healthcare costs, Texas Republicans will not be satisfied until they can make the plight of Texans even worse.

Like you said, college kids make up a large part of the dem/lib environment here in Austin Tx, but as with all college kids, every year, they all go home, to Maine, or Connecticut, or wherever they're from and won't be back anytime soon once graduated. The legal immigrants that are here love legal immigration and it is very important to them, believe you me.

Yeah y'all have been recruiting new members in droves. For the Republicans. And we didn't have to convince them to do it, you did.
