Trump didn't ask for them to dig up dirt on a political opponent in exchange for defense aide. That was the whistleblower charge that was blown out of the water with the release of the transcripts, but it's still being reported.

a candidate has no control over what a 3rd party supporter does - I think we should get rid of pacs and restrict corporate spending, so they can't afford to do these things - if corps are people too, restrict them to the same $$$ as people
