    maybe, and maybe Trump has profited off a conflict of interest as well - I do think we need stricter laws on this

    but that is another topic

    I can't prove what Biden did is illegal because I don't have all the facts but everyone should agree it was a clear blunder to have Biden be the point man on something that potential effected his family.

    No quid pro quo (although that is there as well) is required. Trump tried to coerce a foreign power to open a bogus investigation of his political rival.

    I love the way people think that any illegal act by a president is forgiven if it can just be shown that some other president got away with it ... sorry, that's like saying that a murderer can't be guilty because some other murderer got away with the crime ...

    It is perfectly possible for all the actors to be guilty and EACH possible crime needs to be investigated on it's own merit.

    Trump "asked" for a favor, Godfather style ... and then introduced a private citizen (Guillani) into the mix.
    If Biden acted illegally, that is a separate issue.

    The problem is that Biden was acting on Obama's orders. It's rather hard to pin the blame on Biden since he flat out told the Ukraine dude "call the President" and then "*******n". Biden was just bragging on being Obama's middleman.

    That doesn't address what I'm saying in any way.

    Biden shouldn't have been the person making demands to the Ukrainians given his sons business dealings

    Unless you disagree on the basic facts that Biden was the point man and that Hunter Biden had business dealings in Ukraine under scurnity. Someone else should have given the message

    The whisleblower was about a July 25th call and claimed trump brought up Biden 8 times, the blower had no first hand knowledge and that’s clear at this point

    You are being intentionally inaccurate. Trump wants help with the DOJ investigation on Crowdstrike. Read the actual transcript, not whatever liberal rag you are getting your massaged version from.

    I agree, and think the same about the Trump children and his other conflicts of interest, like his properties, his children, ect....

    like I said, we need stricter conflict of interest laws

    you mean where the Trump campaign guy got drunk and told a foreign country about Russia and they told us

    the difference is they passed the information on to us and the FBI investigated it - and it was the Trump campaign team there that contacted the foreign government as well
