Haha! I saw them back in '90 or so.

But I was more into Skinny Puppy or KMFDM at the time. Drugs were a big problem back then.

 

I haven't listened to a lot of Skinny Puppy, I am mostly all about metal like Metallica, Anthrax, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeth but I do like some crossover like DRI and Suicidal Tendencies and in the old days I listened to a lot of the Dead Kennedys. For DRI I mainly like the Dirty Rotten LP which I listened to a lot in the 80s. I have a copy on vinyl but I would love to get the original cassette like I had back then.

 

I don't think 'the leftists' or 'the rightists' want to fight any war. The realism is that if Ukraine falls other countries are at risk. We are not dealing with a reasonable human being but another Hitler.

 

Why don't we call efforts to stop global warming what the really are. Why don't we name this effort after what the activists think they are getting-

Climate Control.

 

You can't control the climate. It's been control by the earth itself for many thousands of years. You can stop Global warming.

 

Exactly. Only you can stop Climate Control.

 

Maybe because if you read anything from science about this topic you would know that we can't "control" climate.

However, we CAN slow climate change.

We can control, and eliminate, Global warming over a long span of time if we stop polluting the atmosphere with greenhouse gases, Then the climate would eventually return to normal. It has happened before billions of years ago when the earth was full of volcanos polluting the atmosphere and the earth heated up. Over time the volcanos gradually died down the gases slowly dispersed and the climate returned to being controlled by the earths movements round the sun and its internal movements of magma and tektonic plates. Several immense asteroids have hit the earth in the past and had tremendous effects on the earth of the time. It is thought that one caused tremendous tsunamis and threw water into the upper atmosphere. This caused the earth to cool down. Once the effects were dispersed over many years the earth returned to its 'normal' climate.
We simply need to stop the manmade Global warming effect before it becomes irreversible. What we are seeing today is not a natural event. As volcanos died down so the atmosphere 'healed' itself by dispersing the atmospheric clouds. We are continually pouring gases into the atmosphere. Only by stopping these will the earth gradually 'heal' itself. There are no antibiotics we can use.

Please yourself whether you accept this. If you are still middle aged or younger you will be the ones affected. You and, of course, your children/grandchilren and so on. What will you tell them when they ask why their world is in a mess.
