The creeping fascism of Donald Trump

The problem is the slippery slope. Some regard it as a fallacy. But is it? We've gone from the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to a right to education, then to a right to government provided health care, to abortion, to sex change. Prisoners have sued for the right to a sex change operation behind bars. And won. Michael Dukakis ran on the right to decent affordable housing. He lost ultimately, but he got the Democratic nomination and a lot of votes. Many prominent Democrats are now arguing for the right to a university level education. Will it stop there? How about a Masters and then a PhD? Why not? How about a right to a vacation? 6 weeks like in France? How about the right to leisure as is guaranteed in one of the European charters ... commission on human rights, I think.

What about decent affordable clothing, haircuts, an automobile and a gym membership? Why not? Those are all good things. How about karate lessons? Or are you saying people don't even have the right to learn to defend themselves?

Shouldn't government do everything possible to insure that everyone have all this stuff and more? Isn't it mean spirited and even racist to say no, if the stats show that minorities aren't getting as much?

You'll have a hard time soundly demonstrating that more than three are true for Trump.

Big Government factions may compete with each other, but they all belong on the same end of the political spectrum. For instance, the distinctions between National Socialism and "Socialism In One Country" have always been minor, and over time they have almost entirely faded away.

You fail to understand basic economics. Most of the nations you will mention as having Universal healthcare
rely on the US military umbrella for protection and have very limited self defense budgets....freeing up money for social programs, which are horrible at best.
Medicare and Welfare for all schemes are not free. The money for them does not grow on trees.
The idea of security for all of humanity is unfortunately a fantasy.
The entire Progressive movement is predicated on unsustainable and unreasonable ideals.

If the US's defense budget was paid for by other nations, I'm sure we'd have more welfare available.
