There is something I'm not understanding about the right wing Afghanistan narrative...

Anybody with any sort of commensense, that had even a small amount of focus on how Trump boldly and without fear handled our security and how he loved America and put America and Americans first--know that if he was President this would not have happened. He was willing to show force and protect our interests. He may have iniated the deal but Biden handled in a weak and incompetent way. Heck...even CNN talks about Bidens incompetence. This should not have happened.

 

At one point, I believed that Trump wanted to make Biden look bad because he wanted to be the hero. His whole message during his rallies and at the RNC was "Elect me because the other guy is going to make your life much, much worse." It was NEVER about what he brought to the table, only interjecting fear instead of anything about his positive qualities (in fairness, he can't speak to this because he doesn't have any) and what he could do over the next four years to lead our country.

For a while I have been trying to understand his supporters' point of view. All this silly fighting about left and right is pointless. It's counterproductive to creating an UNITED country.

TODAY, I believe that Trump's #1 goal is not to be reseated (yes, he wants that but it's secondary) but to completely and irretrievably break our country.

If that's the case, then Trump's plan is working like a charm.

 

Leftists view things as they want them to be rather than what they actually are. That's a BIG problem.

How would Trump go about breaking the country?

Would he botch a troop withdrawal and make us look like bumbling weaklings?

Would he throw the borders open and basically surrender the country's security and sovereignty during a pandemic?

Would he print trillions of "infrastructure" funny money dollars and cause inflation to skyrocket?

Would he hand out so much free welfare money that people wouldn't bother to go back to work?

Because those are all great strategies for breaking our country.

 

Joe is on vacation. He can't be bothered with the fates of thousands of Americans. The good news is Joe's iron play is improving!

I had to chuckle when I saw your post's reference to the PDB and cartoons, remembering how Trump's briefings had to be put in a cartoonish visual format to try to keep his short attention span engaged. Mostly likely he was formulating his next mean tweet when they were trying to explain what was going on in the world to him.

 

Now replace "Biden" with "Trump" and lace that bad boy on up. Cuts both ways.

It's not about leaving. It's about how Biden chose to leave that caused the problem.

 

You're right, though. Everybody knew that Kabul would fall quickly as evidenced by the fact that the Afghan army was unable (or unwilling) to stop the Taliban. Incredibly, the President of the United States was the only one who didn't know. Amazing..

Stupid Xoe himself didn’t think it would happen. He said himself the Afghans had 300,000 well equipped, well trained soldiers vs around 75,000 Taliban. He expected them to hold of the taliban.
This was on media, it’s there to looks and listen to.

 

The left did the same thing for Trump for over 4 years. However this is not bashing. Biden messed up and even admitted to it.

Take a look in the mirror. The 4 years Trump was in office all we saw was TDS threads.

Trump's decision to withdraw was foolish. Biden's decision to follow through on withdrawal associated him with Trump's foolishness. Biden upped the ante from foolishness to dishonor.
