Certainly Israel would be happy in the sense that the US, and the rest of the world, understood finally what Islamic terrorism was all about, something the Israelis had known for generations. A quick calculation suggests that about 450 million Muslims support violent jihad against civilians, which is certainly an international problem and a good enough reason for some Islamophobia.
