You're ignoring how he corroborated that Joe Biden got a big cut of all of Hunter's "deals", that revelation fell right in line with Hunter's Laptop communications with his family and associates. You're following Orwellian information if you don't know this.

Can you clarify for me how Obama was in any way connected with those Saudi arzeholes who knocked down the Twin Towers?

No question they will do as they are told. The question is told by America or told by China? Either way, when told to jump they will jump.

That's untrue. Australia has historically sometimes been more supportive of US endeavors, has sometimes barely offered support, and has sometimes offered no support or just opposition.

Biden, quite rightly, is bringing the US's allies closer instead of pushing them further away.

So is Biden willing to take on China if it comes down to that?

I mean, what other country does Australia have to worry about??

Nope, Biden is more likely to acquiesce and give in to China.

So this talk about "Biden having Australia's back" is meaningless.

Does Biden actually mean Australia is going to get lots of free American money for its national defense?

Do you care to explain to someone who may be as "ignorant" about world affairs as someone like myself, why what I stated was wrong?

Does Biden claiming to Australia that America has its back have any substance?
And if so, what is that substance?

Don’t you just love that from the same people who have dragged us into more wars than we would like? They know they cannot get anything done right without us.

OUR big problem BL is that we have the audacity to post about American politics - don’t you know we should just bow our heads and wrap those chains tighter?

ANZUS. Humpty has given every indication it was not worth the paper it is written on (according to his conduct.) Biden is re-affirming it.

HOW did Obama/Biden "destabilize" the ME?

Yes that's all true. BUT.....do we all have to fear/loathe 'authoritarian" China as the devil incarnate?

China poured more cement in three years (after the capitalist-neoliberal GFC) than the US poured in the entire 20th century.....no wonder mainland Chinese report greater than 90% satisfaction with their government. China has officially eliminated poverty this year, while lifting 400 million people into the middle class since its 'opening up' in 1990.

To cut to the chase: the real issue is US desire to maintain global hegemony. But the West's neoliberal economic system is demonstrably no match for China's 'socialism with Chinese characteristics'. The US still has entrenched poverty rates of 12% (c.40 million people).

The next decade will be embarrassing as China doubles the size of its middle class (currently c.400 million people) having eliminated poverty.

    (link):

The American Dream Is Alive and Well—in China | WEB OF DEBT BLOG (ellenbrown.com)

Time to look at our classical liberal concept of the 'sovereignty of the individual', and its associated neoliberal monetarist orthodoxy.

Hint: the national government equipped with its own treasury and reserve bank can create money 'ex nihilo', just as private banks do in neoliberal economies.

The real issue is political, not economic, and boils down to the fact that money is power, DESPITE the fact it is created 'ex nihilo'!

But the results will be markedly different if money is created in BOTH the public and private sectors.

I think we will discover Marx's communal philosophy was right all along, if China achieves its following 5-year plans, as envisioned.

Back to the OP: Australia is expected to loathe and fear authoritarian China like everyone else.

And in doing so, they have offended Chinese sensibilities by joining the US in banning the first truly global world-leading technology company in China's history, namely Huawei, on grounds of 'national security'**.

Neo-liberal fools. And now they will pay the price as China slaps tariffs on Australian products in retaliation.

[**Note: the pentagon is as evil as any other global-hegemony-seeking institution. The correct solution - when China is twice the the size of the US economy, is to strengthen the machinery of the UN....)

Incorrect, ultimately when then US says jump, they jump.

He isn’t bring anyone closer, he is just being weak and giving nations anything they want.

Trump took the world to task, and in doing so obtained better trade deals, and had other nations carrying their own weight much more often.

They are hardly allies, more like lackeys.

    @a better world

I assume you are referring to Huawei? If so, I don't understand the ins and outs of that, but the allegation is that it contains sneaky technology which impacts national security, yes?

Yes, China can slap us around, no doubt. I guess we need to toughen up, ey? Find someone else to buy our great wines, food and minerals. And then I guess we can just not buy anything "Made in China," start buying 'Made in Australia.' Sure, we will be wounded but not mortally.

India is an opening market for us, ya know.

The only worry that we have with China is that we have become dependent on them for an easy sell of our natural resources

Correct. Australia thinks it must hide behind the US nuclear umbrella.

That is true, and has to be addressed. "Hi India? You like polluting your skies. Want some coal? Plenty iron ore as well, and any other mineral you want. We have some pretty great wines as well."
