Much like the USSR with their five year plans, we've had periodic reviews that are called Farm Bills, just like any bill about farms. That has nothing to do with funding the Dept. of Ag, which is done yearly, just like any other department of the federal government.

Things change with time, like they no longer buy up milk and make cheese to store it like they once did to give dairy farmers price support. I can remember land being paid to not grow crops and that changes with time.

Corruption is a bogus claim which only Puerto Rico can do according to the right-wing who suck up NRA money to do nothing, prevent healthcare insurance and other insurance reform to oppress the poor, get huge amounts from big pharma to keep our drug prices high and most of the rest of the Washington Lobbyists, who have bought and sold them.

If you want to run your mouth about welfare and anything similar to it, post the data from the budget. Your words are meaningless, prove it. You can even get budget data for each state or the whole country.

There are ways people can build in hostile environments and prevent problems to some degree. The poor can leave your areas until your middleclass becomes the poor. They are better off leaving anyway.

I told you to get the budget and the poor in no state is getting much of the total government spending, so figure it out. It only exists in your mind. You won't post the facts, because the facts don't support your case.

Words aren't budgets with proof. Do you know how to get links for past budgets to show detailed spending? If not, how in hell can you talk about a subject without making an effort to post the facts? They keep account of tax dollars received and revenue spent by state and by the penny.

Are you also aware that normally the Federal Reserve would begin slowing down an economy when unemployment drops to 5%? The unemployment rate is the indicator the Fed uses to prevent inflation.

Water doesn't cost that much and things have to be done after a hurricane to get the infrastructure functioning again. That means you may deliver too much of something that can spoil, particularly if Orange Man is involved. Do that mean problems can't get solved and they can't eventually figure out what works?

Face it, you don't want the Puerto Ricans to get anything, because they don't have the same skin color as you have. You're probably like tRump and didn't even know they were US citizens, not that that would make a difference.

It was similar to Katrina. It took days till the government responded, a total failure of the Trump administration. Still is rather shameful, even today, Trump bashes PR and does not deliver.

 

Oh, I'm not special, but I'm not ignorant either. You can yap all you want about PR but you've never set foot there. I've got a condo in the Condado district of San Juan on Ashford Ave......but yeah, you know it all.

 

Any federal spending in a state is a form of aid to that state. It could be for a military base or a servicemember who uses that state for his home state.

Only money that is spent counts, money that is appropriated and not spent isn't help.

Hear me tell it, if you can't treat the Puerto Ricans right, the same applies for Florida, Texas or any other US state mooching. People should be given equal respect.
