I agree...no point in debating with someone that doesn't know the difference between Medicaid and Medicare....

Have you lived in a cave for the last 5 years.

So why’d the imbecile wait two years to make an issue of it in the budget? You know, the two years when the Republicants controlled everything? I’ll tell you why - it’s because Trump is impotent.

Sorry, a State’s budget is not a matter of national security. You fail again.

Why? Because Ann Coulter was starting to make him look impotent. And then Rush jumped in. That is why. There there is Trump's base holding his feet to the fire.

    Trump OWNS the Shutdown.

The Shutdown is 100% on Trump.

I wonder if he will cave before January 2021?

His signing a bill guaranteeing that Government workers not currently working will be paid for the weeks spent at home is a sign of weakness and weakness means in the long run caving.

I expect him to fire his new chief of staff pretty soon.
Rumors have it he thinks he is getting killed over the wall and shutdown.

    Trump always needs a scapegoat.

The RAGING IMBECILE has never taken responsibility in his life.

    Trump = FAILURE.

Trump = The Ultimate Beta Male.

It would have to be a big cut...I make way to much...so no...however if I was right on the line....likely I would. It's a better economic choice.

Capitalism in America has been largely responsible for the extreme gap we see between the ultra-rich & the poor--along with the disappearing middle class. So, Yes, I DO want to pull the country toward more socialism.

He can't. It will destroy his chances in 2020. Even though that would appeal to you, it won't happen.

I doubt ANY border security system will ever be capable of stopping 100% of illegals from entering the U.S., but a border security system that includes aspects of walls in some locales, electronic surveillance, videos, drones, 4wd units, perhaps helicopters, and lots of border guards, might get us close. I am convinced Trump's concentration on just the wall as the key ingredient is a mistake. Determined illegals can always find a way over, under or around that wall. It will take the other parts of that system working together in unison to accomplish what you desire.

It wasn't actually capitalism directly. It was outsourcing. We spent 40 years sending our manufacturing, jobs and wealth abroad. All those good paying manufacturing jobs were exported so you and others could have cheap stuff. It certainly is capitalistic to give customers what they want. However, socialism will only make it worse.

The easy approach is to kill the incentive. Change the immigration laws to punish illegal immigration instead of encouraging it. Common sense.

You're putting words into my post that I did not. Yes, conservatives see the wall as a barrier to illegals and nothing more. But walls block movement from both sides, and isolate people from one another who could be or become good neighbors. I agree we need to deal with illegals. I just don't see the wall as a particularly effective way of doing that.

Well, why don't you take a good, honest look at how well private insurance companies have handled medical access for the general public. Insurance companies don't make profits by providing the best possible healthcare for you or me. They make profits by finding new ways to deny health care coverage for as many conditions as possible, while keeping our premiums. Past experience demonstrates that privatization of healthcare (as it formerly was) is a bad idea. It it had been successful when it was the only choice we had, we wouldn't have taken the time or trouble to try changing it.

They have done great...private insurance companies are open to anyone that want to purchase their products. Insurance companies don't provide any healthcare...they pay for it, when their clients pay. They make profits by having as many customers as possible, and they get more customers by providing different products, and providing services that are good. We've not really had problems with healthcare, we have had issues with cost...and we are free to discuss how to get cost to be lowered, one of the best ways...is more competition not less.
