    I read a review of the NY law posted by a fact-checker website, and they analyzed every detail of the law & concluded the changes it made were relatively minor, and DID NOT include after birth abortion. That whole idea is a total farce dreamed up by dishonest Pro-Fetus fundamentalists for whom honesty is NOT a value.

    Your last sentence is curious. The Bill of Rights apply to every citizen. What has happened is that the left wing prioritizes by race, balkanizing the country. In essence, separating us by race, sex, etc..

    The current movement to curtail free speech, especially on college campuses, is left wing and not liberal. Liberals always fought for free speech.

    Liberals were always for integration of the races and the new left wing is for segregation, again starting on campuses with separate dorms for races.

    Traditional liberals have always believed in capitalism as the best way to lift people but with more government control. The new left wing is for socialism.

    Traditional liberals were for protecting the nation state, whether it was the US, Germany, France, etc. The left does not believe in borders.

    Liberals understand that America is not perfect but agree with the liberal icon Abe Lincoln that America is the "last best hope of earth". To the left, America is essentially a racist, sexist, violent, homophobic, xenophobic, and Islamaphobic country. The left around the world loathe America.

    Liberals were always tolerant of different religions. The left is not if not tolerant of religion at all.

    Unfortunately the democrat party is moving away from liberalism to leftism and with the hard line leftists, there can and will be no compromise.

    Why take it to the Supreme Court when there is already a federal law in place. It just, ridiculously, let’s mothers wantonly kill their own babies while others are charged with murder for the same act.
