Hahahaha. Yeah... Obama's Godlike Awesomness just couldn't be contained in 8 years, could it? He had to leave office for his Super-Duperness to blossom.. Right? Hahahahaha.....
So what? They're a direct measure of Trump's approval rating; one of which is over time. How else would one measure the popularity of Trump's proposals and Trump as a president?
Pollsters measure the support or lack thereof of policies and politicians--they don't make or shape policy. The majority of Americans continue to reject Trumpism. How would you measure the public's desire regarding policy in a democracy/representative republic?
Gee that's strange because at one point Trump never shut up about polls. He's far too stupid to know of course that there were no polls for Lincoln. He's also too stupid to know that Republican Presidents had poll results from the 60s to the 90s, numbers he'll never see. Correction: his disapproval will likely get into the 60s.
Republicans respect $ and are losing their patience with Trump. The nation is turning away from Trump.
Representatives are elected to do what's right for their constituents and America, not to be slaves to polling companies.
If representatives are elected due to popular support and seek to enact policies based on popular support (the will of their constituents), then how else would popular support be measured besides polling data?
Are you upset with Republicans who condemn Trump? [Romney/ Kasich/ Bloomberg/ Bush- McCain families, etc?
I guess he'll have to settle for doing a much better job than the previous POTUS who was adored by pollsters.
A good POTUS would measure his policies by the results of the policies. Record employment. Obama's Caliphate destroyed. Best economy in a decade. Best payroll increases in decades. Manufacturing jobs coming back instead of leaving. We wouldn't need a Congress and Executive if all we needed to do was ask pollsters what laws and regulations should be in force. How did you think government operated before pollsters existed? Ouiji Board?
If that’s the case, then Trump’s approval numbers would be through the roof and he would be constantly spiking the polling football like he used to do. Since the polls show the reality of his unpopularity, he and his supporters have either ignored them or claimed they were fake.
I disagree. They gave themselves a tax break, and got rid of some pretty significant regulations. I hate to admit that, but hard to spin it any other way.
