really ,cost is cost ,don't try to muddy the water with talking points,i am not am advocate for single payer, the facts speak for them selves .
a single-payer health system can contain costs and streamline clinical management protocols to avoid the unnecessary testing and procedures of private fee-for-service systems like the U.S. system, as well as incentivizing prevention.
do we pay higher prices for the same care? Among prescription drug costs, we pay far more than any other country, at least 20% more than Canada and over 60% more than New Zealand. For the same MRI’s and CT scans, we also pay more: $1,080 is the commercial average cost for an MRI in the U.S. as compared to $599 in Germany; at CT of the head costs $510 on average in the U.S. versus $272 in Germany. For a hip replacement, we again pay the most: $1,634 among public payers and $3,996 among private payers, versus $1,046 and $1,943 respectively in Australia. And physicians’ incomes are the highest: $187,000 on average among primary care doctors in the U.S. versus $93,000 in Australia; and $442,000 among orthopedic surgeons in the U.S. versus $154,000 in France.

I realize this may be weird to some people, but has anybody asked what the doctors think would be best for American health care? After-all, if we do something they don't like, we have no more doctors.

They are questions that I know the answer to. But you do not.

US consumers pay more for drugs because US consumers pay for the development costs. We also get access much quicker. The drug companies sell at the margin to other countries who negotiate deals.

Single payer is a disaster. Costs are controlled by limiting access via gov regulation. Do some homework on my questions and you will learn all about this.

Doctors have formulated the R health insurance reforms.

Doctors have also been retiring in record numbers because of ObamaCare which is in a death spiral sucking in many innocent citizens with it. The D party and a handful of selfish R's refuse to do anything to help the American people.

I didn't say that. I said, prior to Obamacare people died for lack of health insurance, which is true.

I never commented on your universal healthcare idea. Fact is, you are right. My concern is just letting Obamacare implode, which is what Trump wants to do and so do you. It will be years before Americans accept your idea. What happens between the total collapse of the ACA and the adoption of universal healthcare?

That's funny. Trump does not want ObamaCare to implode. But there are R's and D's in the legislative branch who by their actions do want that outcome.

    Read your post to me.
Where is this coming from given my post talked about how we should have "Universal Healthcare" like other first world nations? How on God's green earth does illustrate that I do not care and agree with Trump ?

You can't be serious. Are you wasting my time again or do you have a reading problem. I quoted Trump. You didn't know that? You got the lawmakers wrong, too. Reality is just the opposite of what you said.

Trump told a crowd of federal, state and local law enforcement officials at Suffolk County Community College on Long Island that Washington should let Obamacare fail. "[Congress] should've approved healthcare last night, but you can't have everything," Trump said in a speech on Long Island. "Boy oh boy, they've been working on that one for seven years. Can you believe that? The swamp. But we'll get it done. We're going to get it done. I said from the beginning, ‘Let Obamacare implode, and then do it.' I turned out to be right. Let Obamacare implode."

Republicans in Congress are rejecting President Trump's call to let Obamacare "implode" after the Senate failed to advance legislation to repeal former President Barack Obama's health care law.

You probably think you just successfully wasted my time, but you didn't. When you purposely pass bad info -- something to be expected from a Trump fan -- then that info has to be corrected.

You really don't know what is going on, do you?

Because in America you pay for an MRI. In France the government pays for it. There is socialized medicine in every industrialized country except this one.

Tell me what you think Trump is doing with health insurance reform. Use sources. Your reputation for misleading statements precedes you.

In other words, you can't substantiate your statement. Typical of a Trump fan you respond with a smartass answer.

I knew that would be your reaction.

As a matter of fact, I do read the news a lot and I have no idea what you are talking about. Apparently, neither do you.

Ok, here you go, but what does when they originated have to do with you not reading the posts before you reply?

Which is exactly what I communicated previously. Bush 43 created the HSA in the Medicare prescription drug legislation which was planned to include privatizing Medicare following the Clinton Presidency Thomas/Breaux recommendations which were scuttle due to a blue dress.
